[amsat-bb] Re: Prospero Commanded Pass Today
Hi Roger, I have updated http://www.pe0sat.vgnet.nl/satellite/sat-history/prospero/ with my latest images and recordings. It is possible to get the complete audio file. Send me a direct email and we can arrange something. I had read that there is a 148.000 MHz transmitter on board prospero, and I listend to that frquentie during the pass from 15:55 UTC. Maybe it is interesting what is happening on that transmitter. How do things go on your site regarding PROSPERO? any news? 73 Jan PE0SAT On Mon, October 24, 2011 13:01, Roger Duthie wrote: AMSAT community - The Mullard team intend to attempt commanding to Prospero during the following pass: (entries are: date; mag; start time; el; az; max el time; max el; az; end time; end el; end az) 24 Oct http://www.heavens-above.com/Gtrack.aspx?Session=kebgfdalljnnahdmapeidbkhsatid=5580date=40840.6673023843 7.7 16:54:1710 SSW 17:00:5458 WNW 17:08:4010 N Any listening on the downlink, and feedback on your observations, would be most appreciated. PE0SAT Dear Friends, It gives us great pleasure and satisfaction to say that 'HAMSAT-VO 52' has completed 6 years of successful operation in orbit. HAMSAT was launched on 5th May 2005 aboard PSLV-C6 from Sriharikotta. The transponder and the beacon on-board were never been off the air, even for a second from the time they were switched 'ON'. Looking at the health parameters, HAMSAT is still in good condition and we are sure it would provide fruitful services for many more years to come. On this happy occasion,we express our sincere thanks to the entire ISRO HAMSAT project team for this great feat. [amsat-bb] Define a FM Sat within HRD Satellite Tracking v4.x or v5.x
When you define a Satellite within HRD v4 and also v5 you have the option to select for frequentie and doppler correction: - Repeater / Split or - Linear inv, transponder What should I choose when defining for example SO-50, AO-51 or AO-27? I have no problem with AO-7, VO-52, FO-29 etc etc. The reason for asking is, that I have a lot of problem with working SO-50 in the combination Yaesu FT-847 and HRD Satellite Tracking. At first I thought it was an CTCSS problem, but it seems that I am of frequentie :( Any help would be appreciated, 73 Jan - PE0SAT ___ Sent via amsat...@amsat.org.
