Re: [amsat-bb] LO-78 (LituanicaSAT-1) status update
Dear radio amateurs, Today during 04:30 UTC pass over Lithuania we have turned on LO-78 FM transponder again. Transponder operation might be interrupted during command sequences tomorrow morning. Wish You all good QSOs! p.s. As it might be interesting how the signal changes during the decay we encourage you to share your feedback with us. 73, Laurynas On Fri, Jul 18, 2014 at 7:36 AM, Laurynas Mačiulis wrote: > Dear radio amateurs, > > LO-78 transponder is currently turned off. Dear radio amateurs, Just a short notification message that LO-78 transponder remains on. Next update will be issued after transponder shut down command will be sent. 73, Laurynas On Sun, Jun 29, 2014 at 3:52 PM, Laurynas Mačiulis wrote: > Dear radio amateurs, > > I want to notify that finally after a long brake (mainly due to ground > station maintenance works) we have switched the transponder on again. [amsat-bb] LO-78 transponder back again
Dear radio amateurs, I want to notify that finally after a long brake (mainly due to ground station maintenance works) we have switched the transponder on again. Duty cycle will depend on battery voltage level. All other telemetry is inactive to save power. We hope the signal should be even better now as the satellite is descending steadily to 300 km and wish you all good QSOs! Next update in 24 hours. 73, Laurynas ___ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org. [amsat-bb] LO-78 transponder switched off
Dear radio amateurs, As most of you already know, LituanicaSAT-1 has been assigned OSCAR designation LO-78. I would like to inform that currently transponder is switched off to recharge the battery. We plan to turn it on when the voltage level will be stabilized. Telemetry might be turned off most of the time too. Anyway, if you copy the CW beacon, please report it to help us track the status of the satellite. Thank You all so much for you support so far. It is a great honor for us to become a member of the OSCAR family. 73 de LY1LM ___ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org. Opinions expressed are those of the author. Not an AMSAT-NA member? Re: [amsat-bb] LituanicaSAT-1 update
Dear radio amateurs, The LituanicaSAT-1 transponder is currently on and should remain so. General rule to find out if the transponder is working at the moment is following: if you can hear CW FM beacon on 437.275 MHz it means that transponder is off, if you cannot hear it - transponder is on. 73 de LY1LM Geriausi linkėjimai / Best Regards, Laurynas On Thu, Jun 5, 2014 at 10:53 PM, Laurynas Mačiulis wrote: > Dear amateur radio operators, > > Apparently the satellite had not reset as was scheduled on June 5, 0100z > and the transponder remained on for the rest of today. [amsat-bb] LituanicaSAT-1 update
Dear amateur radio operators, Apparently the satellite had not reset as was scheduled on June 5, 0100z and the transponder remained on for the rest of today. After today's pass over Lithuania we left the transponder working again and put the satellite to safe mode (no telemetry) to save some power for transponder operations, so please enjoy and use it. Next update in 24 h. 73 de LY1LM ___ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org. Opinions expressed are those of the author. Not an AMSAT-NA member? Join now to support the amateur satellite program! Re: [amsat-bb] LituanicaSAT-1 FM Transponder Report 04-Jun-2014 UTC
Dear radio amateurs, A courtesy notice that LituanicaSAT-1 transponder will be operative until June 5, 0100z. At about this time period a scheduled reset should occur and both CW FM beacon on 437.275 MHz and 9k6 baud telemetry on 437.545 MHz should be heard. We encourage you to send reports to find out how reduction in sunlight will affect satellites power budget. Next update and transponder operating schedule will be issued in 24h. 73 de LY1LM Geriausi linkėjimai / Best Regards, Laurynas On Wed, Jun 4, 2014 at 7:31 AM, Patrick STODDARD (WD9EWK/VA7EWK) < amsat...@wd9ewk.net> wrote: > Hi again! > > I was on the last LituanicaSAT-1 pass starting around > 0337 UTC. Re: [amsat-bb] LituanicaSAT-1 Transponder Off
Hello, I confirm the transponder was turned on during 2300z pass over our ground station. It will remain on for today provided there will be no malfunction in the satellite. CW beacon and packet telemetry where switched off to save power. 73 de LY1LM On Mon, Jun 2, 2014 at 10:06 AM, Laurynas Mačiulis wrote: > Hello guys, > > Thanks for your reports!
