Interesting. There was a communications failure inboard after a software upgrade today. br/br/73, br/br/Jeff WB2SYKbr/br/br/Sent from Yahoo! Mail for iPhone ___ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org. [amsat-bb] Re: n3fjp logging + eqso + ADIF format - please help
Are you talking about EQSL? I'm not familiar with EQso. 73 Jeff WB2SYK --Original Message-- From: Michae J. I have not been able to get eqso to upload though. It keeps telling me bad mode. Can anyone who is using this software and eqso tell me what are you entering for your AO-51 contacts in Band and Mode? I tried 2, 2M and SAT J in Band and tried SAT, FM and FM (SAT) in Mode to no avail. Maybe I need to enable a field or something? I have read the whole manual from the website and it doesn't really talk about entering satellite contacts. Thanks for any help, I really want to get my whole log uploaded to eqso. [amsat-bb] Re: XW-1 FM
I haven't been able to get into the sat either in FM or linear. And I work AO-7 and VO-52 regularly as well as the FM birds. Frustrating so far but I will keep at it. 73 Jeff WB2SYK Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry -Original Message- From: George Henry ka3...@att.net Date: Sat, 26 Dec 2009 12:59:28 To: apbid...@mailaps.org; 'WCP'w...@mchsi.com; amsat-bb@amsat.org Subject: [amsat-bb] Re: XW-1 FM I think that the whole problem is the sheer number of stations trying to get into the bird at the same time... destructive interference occurs between all the differently-phased PL tones, and NO ONE gets in most of the time. I would love to see how much easier it would be to use with the tone turned off. Either that, or leave it in linear mode all the time. George, KA3HSW - Original Message - From: Alan P. Some people seem to get in effortlessly, others seldom if at all. I fall into the seldom category, though I had better luck today. Someone suggested that perhaps my dilithium crystals needed realignment, so I pulled out my calibrated deviation meter, and verified the PL is set as recommended for the FT-847 at 700 Hz. Next, I pulled out my counter with GPS time base, and measured 66.961 Hz for the tone. I am pretty certain that an accuracy of .06% should be good enough. ;) I am wondering if it wants significantly more or less PL audio level. It shouldn't be too hard to rig up an external injection when the operation is more frequent. You have got to love satellite ops. Always something interesting to consider!
