LOL! That's too fast. That would mean the return broadcast would be that of our thoughts before we speak. 73, Jeff WB3JFS - Original Message - From: "Ng, Peter" To: "Jeff Yanko" ; "Bob- W7LRD" ; Sent: Monday, September 26, 2011 1:56 PM Subject: RE: [amsat-bb] Re: AO-7 observation no, but dilithium crystals should be able to handle that...those babies can do warp 9 73's Peter VE7NGP -Original Message- From: amsat-bb-boun...@amsat.org [mailto:amsat-bb-boun...@amsat.org] On Behalf Of Jeff Yanko Sent: Monday, September 26, 2011 1:45 PM To: Bob- W7LRD; amsat-bb@amsat.org Subject: [amsat-bb] Re: AO-7 observation If we could somehow harness those slightly faster than the speed of light neutrinos, discovered at CERN, and apply them to RF use, the delay could be reduced. ;) 73, Jeff WB3JFS - Original Message - From: "Bob- W7LRD" To: Sent: Monday, September 26, 2011 1:30 PM Subject: [amsat-bb] AO-7 observation I notice when AO-7 is out there at 4000km I can notice the delay in cw from my monitor to the 8000km round trip to and from AO-7. I must try that! On the "babbling fool" thing, try using DMR radios (Mototrbo, Hytera) with the 500ms processing delay: "Radio che uh one t- uhm uhubbuh..." tail off into incoherence. Of course since your mike is still open and the receiver is right beside it, you get this King Tubby delay feedback echo, Lee Scratch Perry thing going on. -- Gordon JC Pearce MM0YEQ ___ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org.
