[analog-help] using date variables in OUTFILE
Hi; I'm not sure if this is a bug... Sometimes I want to be able to generate OUTFILE by day, so I have the following: OUTFILE "/analog_report.%Y%M%D.html" When I did this early in the month, the resulting filename has a space in it: analog_report.22 8.html (I'm not planning on artificially setting my computer date and so can't re-create this result until the start of March.) I am guessing that the '%D' is generating a non-zero-padded digit. Is this fixable? And in a more generalized form of this question, why couldn't Analog use the same datestring variables as the generic UNIX 'date' command? %D = 02/14/00 %d = 14 (at least this is in my locale...) There is a %3F, which 4.01 converted to a ? and treated as the beginning of the query string. But the whole point of being able to use %3F instead of ? is that it ISN'T a query string delimiter. And 4.02 correctly recognises this. -- Stephen Turner[EMAIL PROTECTED]http://www.statslab.cam.ac.uk/~sret1/ Statistical Laboratory, 16 Mill Lane, Cambridge CB2 1SB, England "We can ask you to pay the full amount which you owe us if you: (a) become bankrupt; or (b) die." [analog-help] IMAGEDIR
I have been singularly unsuccessful in getting Analog 4 (just shifted from v3) to pull the report images from the Image subdirectory of the program directory. Have used every variation of the syntax that I can figure; need to have the images pulled from my C: drive so that I can produce printed reports; Your collective help is already much appreciated --- Stephen B. [analog-help] Working Hours
Hi all, Using Report Magic for Analog, and was wondering: Just curious as to whether or not in the "Hourly Summary", you can change the work hours, and after hours times. They now are from 8:00 am - 4:59 pm and the after hours are 5:00 pm - 7:59 am (YEs, for us lucky stiffs) :) Thanks in advance, Brandon Good (DSS) [EMAIL PROTECTED] This is the analog-help mailing list. Re: [analog-help] Working Hours
Brandon, No. In the current version of Report Magic, you cannot change those hours without altering the code. This is something that will be configurable in the future. Perhaps, if there were a nice, clean solution for summarizing summaries, it would happen faster. :) If you have further questions on Report Magic, please direct them to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks, Jeremy Wadsack Wadsack-Allen Digital Group "Good, Brandon (DSS)" wrote: > Hi all, > Using Report Magic for Analog, and was wondering: > Just curious as to whether or not in the "Hourly Summary", you can change > the work hours, and after hours times. Take out the LOGFORMAT at the beginning of that line. 2] It still doesn't look like you've quoted (escaped, parenthesized, whatever you want to call it) the format string. Did you put parentheses around it? (I don't know whether Analog would echo those back or not). HTH, Jeremy Wadsack Wadsack-Allen Digital Group This is the analog-help mailing list.
