RE: [analog-help] beginner's question
hi, >>just guessing: logfile name needs to changed? Did you set a FROM-TO command that does not include any entry from the current log? both of these in the .cfg file, I assume you mean? I've double-checked that and it all seems to be right. The only thing I changed in there since the last time was the logfile name, which is as it should be. I should say, I tried processing the old file again and it worked fine. For some reason the new one won't work. Unless something has changed in our server logging since then that I'm unaware of... holly This is the analog-help mailing list. 'GET' is the request method, '/toc1.shtml' is the requested file, 'HTTP/1.1' is the transport (in this case HTTP v1.1). You only want the middle bit. Re: [analog-help] NEWBIE-LOGFORMAT PROBLEM?
Adding the PAGEINCLUDE *.shtml line counted a few more files of this type but is not the problem. However, if I edit the request lines "GET /toc1.shtml HTTP/1.1" to "/toc1.shtml" then the reports come through OK although there are still some issues with the charts. The "%r" parameter seems incorrect. I can run a macro to remove all the GET and HTTP entries for a workaround but this seems unelegant. Any advice is appreciated. [analog-help] beginner's question
hi, I first used analog about a month ago and it worked fine. Today I tried to use it for the second time, and for some reason I am not getting any output. What I mean is that the file I've set it to (in analog.cfg) is 30 megs but the resulting Report.html does not give me any results. It simply says that it generated the report, and then there are no results in the page. I have taken the logfile from the same server directory as I did before (just different dates).
