I don't know. But there is an interesting thing. When I use Gallery（the default software to open image in the system）, the pictures is distortion too. I'm wondering is that a problem we cannot not solve... Hi, i also tried several suggested workarounds: PNG24, 96dpi, dithering, accessed the png from the raw res folder... without success. since the png must be partially translucent i cant use jpeg.
