How can I verify that the Android app that has initiated communication with 
my server is not an imposter. Basically the server should be able to check 
and verify that the app communicating with it is the one developed by me

[android-developers] compilatin errors with google play services 8.4

HI,

I upgraded google play services 8.3 to 8.4, as vungle does not work with 
google play services 8.3.

Now it has compliation errors.

Below is the error.
Uncaught translation error: com.android.dx.cf.code.SimException: 
com.android.dx.rop.cst.CstMethodRef cannot be cast to 
com.android.dx.rop.cst.CstInterfaceMethodRef

below are the things I have put in build.gradle

as google play services 8.4 does not work with version 22, I had to change 
colpike and buildtools version to 23, before it was 22.
But I do not want to target to 23 android sdk version.

Please help me to solve this issue.

[android-developers] Card view background displays black colour on 4.1.2

I am using cardView library from google which works fine as expected on 
version 4.2 and above where I am setting its background color to white. But 
however on 4.1.2 its rendering a black background and all padding are also 
lost.

[android-developers] transitive dependencies not working for card.io and aar library using gradle

Hi Im using transitive dependency for card.io to aar library using gradle. 
But its throwing class not found exception from the application to card.io. 
Is it possible to add an aar into another aar. I want to bundle both aar 
libraries into one and ship it to other users. I there a way to do this?
I have followed following link1

the mentioned solutions are not working for my application. Application is 
working, when the card.io library directly importing to the working 
application.

If you mean you expect your model object to update when the user changes a
UI field (like entering a text value in an EditText), that is not supported
by data binding, to my knowledge.

The code you have set up is for one-way - modify your model and the binding
updates the relevant UI field.

This group is for Android development issues. I'm afraid you won't have any 
answers here. I suggest you to google the problem or maybe you can try 
directly in Android users' sites like Android Enthusiasts from 
StackExchange (I don't remember if this is exactly the name).

[android-developers] Does NsdManager support non-standard service type?

I want to discover some services from local network by NsdManager, it 
turned out that it never worked with a non-standard service type when it 
did work with some standard services like _http._tcp . At the same time, I 
can discover my custom service type by JmDNS. why is that?

I experience the same issue but orderId is also empty for purchases made 
with promo code.
