[android-developers] How to configure the server an app user is connected to?

I asked a previous question, but I don't think I explained it well enough. 

I'm trying to understand how to configure the server that each user is 
connected to - we would like to allow each user to be connected to a 
different server, but would like to avoid having to enter a key on the 
user's end.

[android-developers] AVD skin - onion option not working on API25

I am trying to make an emulator skin that overlays an image on top of the 
emulator display area. According to documentation this image will be 
overlaid with 50% transparency if set as onion in layout file of the skin. 
I tried using v26.1.4.0 and v26.1.2.0 emulator and Google API 25 x86 image 
with Pixel XL skin. I tried changing the layout file in Pixel XL skin. I 
tried replacing the foreground file value for onion key. The default onion 
is a 100% transparent image in Pixel XL from what I could see. I replaced 
it with a random image (webp and png) of same size. I tried using device 
background itself. No onion shows up. Is this feature broken or is there 
something I need to do make it work? I am using Ubuntu 17.04 on Intel® 
Xeon(R) CPU E5-2667 v4 @ 3.20GHz × 32. I would appreciate any help with 
this.

Currently, we don't use google play to deploy our app to customers, but 
would like to start.

Our problem is that we need each client (a group of maybe 10-50 tablets) to 
be able to receive data from a specific server in our data base. However, 
we would like to only have one build of our software that each client 
installs, as opposed to multiple builds that each are connected to a 
different server.

We solve this problem now by manually entering a key into each customer's 
tablet. We would like to eliminate this key, and just be able to control 
which server the client's tablet is connected to on our end. 

Is this possible with Google Play?

We are seeking a Principal Oracle Database Administrator to join our team
supporting a federal agency in Washington, DC.

The Principal Oracle Database Administrators on our team provide technical
leadership to teams modernizing and enhancing the Information Technology
Infrastructure.  The customer is undertaking a major migration of Oracle 11
to Oracle 12c.  Migration requirements for this position include Oracle
Middle Tier technologies such as Oracle SOA suite, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle
BI Publisher, EDQ, ODI and Oracle Identity Management (OID, SSO, and Oracle
Access Manager).  This effort will have significant focus on the design and
construction phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and demonstrated
experience in working independently and capable of working in team
environment; experience providing technical leadership to junior staff;
demonstrated excellent oral, written, communication and interpersonal
skills. Experience must demonstrate a progressively more technically
complex responsibilities during the candidate's professional career.
Demonstrated experience in leadership and collaborates technical expertise
with external teams.



*RESPONSIBILITIES:* As a Database Administrator, you are instrumental in
researching, evaluating, designing, testing, recommending, and planning
implementation of Oracle Applications, database, and database
administration tools in an Oracle 12c environment. You will work actively
with peers and users to resolve project issues.



*EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: *10+ years of related IT and Oracle database and
applications experience.

*REQUIRED SKILLS:* The successful candidate must have 10+  years of related
IT and Oracle database and applications experience and at least twelve
months experience with Oracle 12c Fusion Middleware server and SOA.   Must
have strong communication skills, motivated, self-starter, and a solid
understanding of requirements analysis and verification



*PREFERRED SKILLS:  *Oracle Database 12c certifications are desired.

This is why it’s vital that you have end-to-end visibility for your 
applications, infrastructure, and digital business as a whole. With 
performance metrics that can be reviewed and shared universally, you can 
monitor your DevOps efforts and prove success at every stage. Leaders 
benefit from knowing that everyone is aligned and moving forward towards

What you should measure

For your DevOps efforts to be a true success, you have to link and balance
