My sharpsl-rc and other trivial kernel patches are ready for stable
branch. The kdrive MEDIUMRAW patch should be ready as well.

I would like to see also new gtk+ (2.12.x). It should be backward
compatible, and fixes two irritating bugs:
- broken some jpeg images in minimo
- unintentional jumping to the beginning of the page while releasing
  stylus
I am using it for more than month without any problems (with all
packages compiled against 2.10.x).

There are several not yet committed patches fixing ugly Spitz/Akita
bugs:
- broken mixer (Akita, Spitz, #2617)
- broken zaurusd (Akita, Spitz, #3390)
I plan to prepare updated commit ready patch soon.

Update to defconfigs of linux-hh are still in progress, and I'd like to
avoid spurious kernel upgrades, so it would be better to wait with
that, I'll RFC them as soon as they converge.

Otherwise, the biggest problem I'm thinking about now is how to ensure
if not seamless, then at least manageable kernel version upgrade (to
-hh21).

Well, this will make open dialog unusable on qvga again, until my
patches forward-ported to it. Not that I'm against upgrade of course.

navit and roadmap are pretty stable. There are couple things I want to 
polish to trim the package down. However, kdrive-1.4 is broken right now 
in .dev, so I'm not able to test on devices to make sure they really 
function well. With that, I should correct my bad choice of flite 
patches in the stable branch.

I have to really fix tosa-asound.state patch.

I think altboot updates should go into stable as well.

To sum up:

navit   (need polish)
roadmap (need polish)
flite   (correct mistake)
altboot
alsa-6000x-default.state.patch (not committed yet)

Please wait with kernel upgrades, suspend/resume and reboot are
actually broken in .dev (cpufreq ?).

About dev branch, with the exception of a missing patch for
xserver-kdrive-imageon all images are compiling fine in
angstrom-2008.1 for c7x0.

With the latest patches, linux-rp 2.6.24-r4 now has working suspend
and resume on poodle, c7xx and apperently cxxx so +1 from me.
