Hi arr fans, I feel that a.r.rahmans best three albums in his career going to release this year (if nothing goes wrong with the releasing dates.). They are 1. Mangal pandey/rising, 2. Water, 3. Rang de basanti 1. Mangal pandey/rising_: aamir khan (a great actor), a.r.rahman (a great musician), javed akthar (a great lyricist)- what an electric combination, what a team (and add khailash kher's great voice to that- three songs sung by him). Reason for being one of a.r.r's best 3: so many guys have raved about the music. Khailash kher, richa Sharma, javed akthar who has written the lyrics all have praises about a.r.r's music for this period movie. 2. Water/ river moon_: Reason for being one of a.r.r's best 3: rahman him self has stated in an interview that water is his best effort. To quote it from his interview this is what he said- "a film of this nature cannot have anything but pure music, you have to give a hundred percent of yourself to something like this. I think this time I have achieved a perfect ten". That says it all. 3.ranged basanti_: well, every body is raving about the title song (ranged basanti chola) of this movie, sung by bhangra singer daler mehendi, this is a contemporary movie so we can expect some modern beats as well coz the previous two movies were period. Hope the other songs of this movie are also electric. Reason for being one of a.r.r's best 3: in an interview aamir khan said that this was the most mesmerizing script he ever read, so a movie of this quality with a great script should have a great music and rightly they have chosen a.r.r to give music. So we can expect 3 of a.r.r's best albums, if not a.r.r's best 3 albums in the same year, that is too good to be true, but hopefully it could be true (this is my personal opinion mind you), please post your views as well, kindly waiting for your response. I am listening to Bose and immensely enjoying Desh Ki Mitti, Ghoomparani, Ekla Chalo, and Azaadi. I am also really appreciating ARR's work on the bgm. I feel kind of bad that these beautiful four compositions above, which melt my heart, have not been recognized by the public at large or promoted well. Such beautiful, haunting, breathtaking songs should not go unappreciated. I cannot describe in words how much I love these songs and appreciated the hard work that ARR has put into composing them from his heart and soul. Please, since you know Rahman personally, convey to him that his fans really appreciate his work from Bose in a very heartfelt and sincere way. I listen to Bose almost daily and I just can't get enough of these four songs. They really move my soul and add so much to my day. So may beautiful feelings conveyed through these songs. I have a fear that ARR gets discouraged or upset if he knows that his work has not become popular or liked by the public at large, even though he knows that his fans are behind him. Please do let him know my feelings about Bose's music and appreciate all of his hard work and very sincere efforts. He composes with so much passion, heart, and soul and I really do feel his outpouring of emotion through these songs. DIL SE DIL ZARA MILA HI LO - from the movie KHEL KHILADI KA (SUPER POLICE in tamil)- background vocals when rahman chants like tizak-tizak-tirrr. 2. KOI SAMJHADE - from the movie MUTHU MAHARAJA (MUTHU in tamil)- background vocals when rahman repeats after flute like yel-yel- yeliyala-le. 3. YARO SUN LO ZARA - from the movie rangeela (also again in KHEL KHILADI KA in the song BABU LO CHAL GAYA NA and in SUPER POLICE in tamil)- background vocals. 4. THODA THODA PYAR HO GAYA - from the movie PRIYANKA (INDIRA in tamil)- background vocals when rahman comes as a surprising voice from far background saying he-he. he-he. (am not sure though that he is rahman or not) 5. Great Thanks to U. after reading I just feel howcan aperson be so humble. what is he really made up of. far from years I spell the BOSS 's name at least once a day and humm his songs. I think we shud follow him as a role model. His success, his personality and his talents are more inspiring to me. Just read the lines once again he mentioned on BOSE, he himslef thought would he do justice to that great person. will any person dare to do that having Benegal's invitation on one hand and a thought that will he do justice to that legend. It shows how different is ARR. Again we have HJ who is now in cluds after somebody tld him that Randakka is a bg hit. Godfather'- Alive and kicking! By Moviebuzz Sunday, 10 July , 2005, 12:24 Finally Ajit's bad days seems to be coming to an end. His Godfather has once again started rolling in Hyderabad from last Friday. Says director K.S.Ravikumar: "Everything has been sorted out amicably between the crew and the producer. I hope to complete the film in 50 to 55 days including the songs in two schedules". The man who has been responsible for the breakthrough is L.Suresh of Ananda Pictures a leading Chennai based distributor who is also the president of distributors association. As per the deal worked out between the actor and Nic Arts Chakravarthy, the producer of Godfather is that Ajit himself will pay Rs 2 Crore to him! This will be paid to the producer at the time of the final settlement, a day before the release. The amount of Rs 2 Crore will be given as an interest free loan by L.Suresh to Ajit who will later do a film for him in return. Meanwhile Ajit has shaved his beard but kept the long hair which he was growing to get the "look of the character" that he is playing in Bala's Njan Kadavul Than. The Godfather settlement comes as a big relief for the actor who has been going through a horrendous phase in his career. Now things are bound to improve for Ajit as a leading Chennai based astrologer has predicted that "2006 will be Ajit's year in Kollywood". Dear Pravinder, I completely abide by what u said...ok, this may not be applicable for majority of the people because of the influx of the latest in tecnologies or for personal reasons otherwise..but the exact words written here by our friend applies for me also...it was always a personal pleasure of mine to take a AR Rahman cassette from the rack, put it on the Cassettee player and concentrate and hear the entire songs and not able to skip...i too have CD collections but i made it a CD to have the collections in CD also.for future use if by chance any cassette get unhearable (just a probability)i seldom used to hear ARR in a CD..mostly it was Cassettee player and Walkman. I really miss all those days as i am now abroad and all my cassettes are back home ... i just have the rewritten CD's with me and i cant get the old feel back when i listen to a CD player (in relation to myself only)...but i think the unavailable and unreacheable circumstances, for the enjoyment of this personal pleasure, makes both your life and the songs of AR Rahman more colorful and vibrant.
