hi, if anyone having the photos and news articles of the first 3d-concert tour-ARR of two shows held in london, please post to my mail as i didn't see any photos and news regarding it. but what about dakha & srilanka it should also be over by now. is it so that those two shows are cancelled or postponed? let me know. also what about gulf & africa no shows there? but we saw photos & news of all the other 3d tour shows so far held in australia, singapore, india. and we all know during feb-mar. 2006 3d shows concludes in US & canada. plz reply to my mail. thanx ram Yahoo! I felt M R did show some justice to E Ajnabi in Dil Se. if it was played as a normal song it would have failed to deliver the emotions it did in the movie. The much-expected Sivaji, which brings actor Rajinikanth and director Shankar for the first time, is slated to hit floors on 1 December. Being produced by AVM Productions, Sivaji will feature Mazhai fame Shreya opposite him besides Prakash Raj playing the baddie. hey guys what do you think abt this song - Thenana from Desam/Swades And what happened to Deasam movie? Some said they watched the movie and the dubbing was so good .. is this true.. for there was never any info abt the release of the film.. The songs received very poor feedback in Singapore. Only 2 songs were in the top10 -Kettena(Dekhona) at 8th position and -Unnai Kelai(Yunhi) The great melody Kaaviriya(sawariya) was never played here. Such a beatiful song wasted. And back to the topic, Listen to "Theenana Munaana" having Rajini in mind. Doesn't it suit Rajini? It has all the elements of a Rajini song. The intro of the song itself with SPB singing" Ae Hey" is splendid, and it wouldn't be bad if it would be added to Sivaji. One disadvantage though, we have a brand new song in store... Rajini was impressed with the 1 song that was composed already by A R Rahman. And Maalai Murasu reports that Sivaji is made with a budget no Tamil films had been made before. With reference to Mathan's message There are two different versions of Bombay Dreams Shakalaka Baby.. one is the on stage musical version.. other is the one which they released as a single in UK... The CD contained Shakalaka Baby and a remixed version of Shakalaka Baby and song called Tak Dheem (it's just pure music with the words "tak dheem tak tak dheem, tarikitha tarikitha takka dheem, deem deem tarikita deem deem, tarikita tarikita takka deem..." which repeats till the end...) Only that single CD contained this song Tak Dheem.. its not even available with the Bombay Dreams Musical CD. not even available to buy at http://www.reallyusefulrecords.com which produced the Bombay Dreams CD I am trying to upload the file to my web site.. you might be able to listen to it... but not copy it.. I can upload it if you want me to.. I am not sure whether you all have listened to it before... [arr] Musicians band together for earthquake charity single
RAHMAN MAKING US FANS PROUD OF HIM WITH EVERY WORK HE DOES Artists across the Asian music industry have joined hands for one of the largest collaborations of its kind, aimed at raising money for charities in South Asia. The project, which started off in January in response to the Tsunami in Asia, and was given further impetus by the recent earthquake in Kashmir, has culminated in a CD due to be released next week titled 'We can Make it Better'. A total of seventeen artists have come together for the single. The music is composed by AR Rahman and produced by Mukhtar Sahota. Others include Sukhwinder Singh, Jaspinder Narula, Shaan, Hans Raj Hans, UK Apache, Am'nico, Dhami (Heera), Channi (Alaap), Djinn, Mistri, E=MC, Shahin Badar, Sumeet, Surinder Sandhu (Sarangi), and Shahbaz Khan (Tabla). Mukhtar Sahota said: "The idea behind the track was to take a similar approach as to the Band Aid single but with Asian artists from around the world. Asian music is so diverse and I felt that if we can bring different music genres, from Eastern and Western continents together, we can make a difference and at the same time the recording could be a history in the making." Money from the single will go to Save the Children in India and Islamic Relief. Singer Sneha Mistri said: "After seeing the images on TV I just felt lost and helpless with all the suffering going on. So when I was approached to be part of this, I felt a sense of relief to be able to do something. "I hope that we can make a difference, however small because we will always have more then those people directly affected in both tragedies." The project is the result of a collaboration between Internalmusic, Streetlife productions and Realtone Records. The video for the single, featuring all the artists, was shot in 3 locations: the UK, India and Canada earlier this year and made over a 4 week period. The single is due for release on Friday 11th November from HMV and Asian music outlets. Organisers say all artists gave their time free of charge and the money raised will be donated to the charities excluding any distribution and retail costs that may apply. Yahoo!
