Hi Group,
Have anybody noticed the magic in Enuyir Thozhilye in Kangalal kaithu
sei. I am curious to know who might have played the keyboard for the
first interlude. The keystrokes are very fast and with very good
progression with the female voice in the backdrops. The fast note I had
heard was the one by Adnan Sami in Bheegi Bheegi raaton mein. But I
doubt this might be eevn faster than that. Any thoughts?

Ai Ajnabi - Dil se - a mix of BGM and Vocals of this song from the
movie has been uploaded to rapidshare.  Half the song is in BGM, the
other half in vocals, I had to mix/add parts of the song from the CD,
because Manisha turns the radio off!!

Gareresasa bit from the song Anarkali, mixed.
This is  experimental loop of gareresa - for anyone that is
interested.   Listen to this one on headphones.

Jeans and Yuva BGMs are in the making, AJ, I'll do those, unless you
already have them.  It may take me a while to get these, as my
midterms are next week.  So, maybe 2 to 3 weeks.  I was just able to
extract my favorite BGMs fromt the two: Jeans-Love theme, and
Yuva-Kareena theme(Fanaa)

Hi friends,
Right after cutting Mangal Pandey BGM I started recording Boys! Well, what can I say? Both scores are in totally different leagues but still mindblowing in their own ways.
Rahman is definitely every director's dream composer. His music helps to carry the story and there is still much more one can find. Look out for the track in Boys BGM "Boys harassing Harini", the tune, the flute, what a kind of innosence it displays as you can see in the film. How hard the Boys try but can't leave a good mark to Harini. The whole soundtrack is filled with these small but nevertheless great music (I love the flute pieces like "Munna weds Harini").
Though I knew it before that Rahman is simply the best, he never stops to impress his listeners again and again. Frankly said after seeing Anniyan, I must admit that I really liked Harris Jayaraj's songs and the score was not bad either, but every time I imagine, how would be this if Rahman had done the compositions... I can't stop imaging!!
I am a student of tv and film producer in Germany and I tell you guys, my biggest dream is it to work with A.R. Rahman one fine day. Simply because of the reason that I know he will always satisfy a director's desire. Anyway I don't want to write too much now, here are the links:

Generally ARR wont specify any particular song as his favorite song. But last year in stage ( I think it is Mahesh memorial pgm telecasted in suntv) he announced that "till now I sung ur favorite songs .Now i am playing my own favorite song " and then this Oru Nall Oru polzhthu by Swarna played.
I tried this album in lots n lots of places but not found. please upload the complete album for all the ARR community

Lata Mangeshkar at 76 is unstoppable. After
accomplishing every possible musical feat, she has
now recorded a duet with A R Rahman, for Rakeysh
Mehra's Rang De Basanti.

“Although I've sung for Rahman before, I had
never sung with him,” says Mangeshkar,
“It's a
lovely maa-beta (mother-son) song –
'Lukka-chuppi bahut hui saamne aa ja na'. What really
pleased me no end was the fact that the song will be
picturised on Waheeda Rehman, one of my
favourite actresses for whom I've sung some of my
favourite numbers.”

Prasoon Joshi who wrote the striking songs of Phir
Milenge and the promotional number for
Black, has  written the song for the historic
Mangeshkar-Rahman duet. The last time she had
sung for Waheeda Rehman, it was coincidentally another
mother-son song – 'Tu mere saath rahega
munne', by composer Khayyam in the film Trishul.

The nightingale flew to Chennai to record this
historic duet. “Rahman was keen that I sing in
his own studio. I was more than happy to
oblige,” she says.

Mehra is ecstatic over this musical duet. “To
have Lataji sing for my film was a dream. When
she came for the recording, my knees and hands were
trembling. This is Lata Mangeshkar, for
God's sake,” says Mehra.

first time for a film called Pyar Kiya To
Nibhana to be directed by Vinay, a former assistant to
Sooraj Barjatya.

after cutting Mangal Pandey BGM I started recording Boys! Well, what
can I say? Both scores are in totally different leagues but still
mindblowing in their own ways.   Rahman
is definitely every director's dream composer. His music helps to carry
the story and there is still much more one can find. Look out for the
track in Boys BGM "Boys harassing Harini", the tune, the flute, what a
kind of innosence it displays as you can see in the film. How hard the
Boys try but can't leave a good mark to Harini. The whole soundtrack is
filled with these small but nevertheless great music (I love the flute
pieces like "Munna weds Harini").  Though
I knew it before that Rahman is simply the best, he never stops to
impress his listeners again and again. Frankly said after seeing
Anniyan, I must admit that I really liked Harris Jayaraj's songs and
the score was not bad either, but every time I imagine, how would be
this if Rahman had done the compositions... I can't stop imaging!!  I
am a student of tv and film producer in Germany and I tell you guys, my
biggest dream is it to work with A.R. Rahman one fine day. Simply
because of the reason that I know he will always satisfy a
director's desire. Anyway I don't want to write too much now, here are
