I think you still need an external hardware DTS decoder to play DTS
CDs from the computer.  I don't think that's the case for DVDs.

albums are racing ahead of arr... i never did... first read my message

when they sing they need to concentrate on the pronounciation and diction...
this is something happening in hindi... even the egyptian lady(Maryem
Toller) if i m correct... has sung beautifully in MAYYA MAYYA... the song is
more appealing because we could understand the lyrics clearly and that is
what is needed in thamizh... of course occasionally when we get some
stylish(as you claim) songs we can always enjoy it... something like
kulluvalliley(Muthu) or Kadalikkum Pennin(Kadalan)... and stylish way of
singing thamizh is not a problem... Take dating song from BOYS it was sung
very stylishly but still we could understand the lyrics clearly... but on
the other hand MAyil iragey from Aa.. Aah... not stylish singing... but
absolutely there is not clarity of lyrics... such an amazing melody from arr
should have been a massive hit.. even with the same singers if bit more
attention was given to clarity of lyrics... so understand the difference
between stylish way of singing and singing with clarity... and this is the
general opinion i found when i was just doing my informal survey... most of
them quoted this(17 out 23) mayil irage song... even this 40 sec song... it
amazing no doubt about it... i m sure its going to be a hit... may be this
song i can accept it need to stylish... cos the tune is so... so
mr.kanchias i told earlier understand the meaning and then talk...
even MJ's music
you have songs like liberian girl, heal the world where i can follow the
lyrics quite clearly...
I wonder i ve quoted most of the things in my previous mail itself(jus now

One more eagerly expected Rahman soundtrack gets leaked – just three tracks,
though! Vaaji vaaji is definitely very catchy - but a tad too simplistic
with a predictable rhythm sequence. Sahara is pretty melodious, even as it's
a bit staid for a Rajinikanth starrer! Oru kudai sunlight is bound to catch
you completely off-guard with crowd-pleasing lyrics, smattering of Spanish
and some atrocious Tamil pronunciation. As for the tune, beyond its marginal
hip-hop influences, its one of those usual fragmented songs that only Rahman
can produce. Despite my initial apprehension, this may catch on big, thanks
to its highly unusual structure!

Hi Arr Fans,

I came last week from USA and immediately went to Landmark, Chennai 
citi centre and bought the following the collections

1) Water (Audio CD)
2) Bombay Dreams (i was planning to buy brandnew long long time, i 
borrowed the audio cd from my cousin earlier, now i returned it back 
and bought the brand new for me and itz for the very good deal. its 
199 Rs only)
3) Warriors of heaven and earth (When i was in USA, i watched our 
GURUs chinese music video in youtube.com and get anxious to buy the 
audio CD)
4) GodFather 5.1 Dts Audio DVD
5) Pray for me brother (Audio Cd+DVD collection)

I have a philips home theatre. Unfortunately, my philips DVD player, 
not playing the GODFathers DTS CD, its playing but no audio i am 
able to hear. this is the first time i bought the DTS Audio DVD. I 
checked the compatibility of my player. User Manual sayz, 5.1 
Digital Dolby Surround. Not DTS, i think its not playing due to 
uncompatibility of my player.

Now i have the 5.1 DTS Audio DVD of god father. 

instead of holding it idle, i am ready to give it to our fanz as 
gift whoz is having the compatible player to play that and replying 
to this mail as first(only 4 chennai fanz).

I will personally reply to that mail regarding my/their contact 
details to give that CD.

It happens to A R R because he is a high profile musician.  

The hope is that there is a committed fan base like the people here 
who will buy the albums, and people who can afford it would go for 
the real thing. 

The USA concerts are almost finalized. I will try and bring more info 
as things become clearer. 

I cannot believe that songs are leaked out of A R's studio. Only a 
few people that A R trusts immensely are ever allowed to hear or own 
the final mp3s before release, and they would certainly not dishonor 
this privelege. Whatever happens, happens probably after the mp3s are 
sent to the directors.

The initail listening of Tere Bina made me think the female voice as
Reena Bharadwaj only to the surprise after looking at the credit list
to discover its Chinmayi, how did I miss to guess her voice and I am

CLIPS. ! IF AS A FAN AM PISSED OFF SO MUCH, IMAGINE ARR & SHANKAR,
