[arr] Re: Kaise Mujhe - Boss shld have sung this song!

2008-11-28 Thread arunsoft2k
I do feel sometime, the recording of the song is not great could
have caused Benny's voice overshadowed by the music.

i dont know whow has better control on this AR Rahman or T-Series
or the sound engineers?

I felt the same with Newyork Nagaram from SOK which ARR himself
sang.

[arr] Re: Somebody answer me this...

2008-11-28 Thread my_arr
Who said BlaaZe don't know how to speak Tamil? He can speak fluently..
It's much bigger picture actually than considering whether the singers
know Tamil or not.. ARR appreciate the voice and singing skills than
whether they know the language or not... You'll be amazed if you see
how ARR trains the non-tamil singers to sing in Tamil..He's a
perfectionist.. I don't think even the tamil die-hard can do what ARR
does to ensure the singers get the words right...

ARR is more concerned about getting his songs perfect than any of us..
Do you actually know how much of importance ARR has been giving to
lyrics? It's unbelievable that a person who creates magical tunes
manage to spend long hours to get the lyrics fit with the song... Am
sure ARR knows which singer will suite the tunes.. Udit Narayan has
also been singing in Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam and other
languages... Does it mean he cannot sing in those languages just
because he is Hindi? There are also many Tamil singers did well in
Hindi e.g Benny Dayal, Karthik, Srinivas and many others.. Why didn't
you question on that?

You must be proud that ARR has broken the language barriers and it's
amazing to see the north and south Indian singers hanging around
together during ARR's live tours without any differences... They are
united under one banner.. MUSIC... You should appreciate that ARR has
made the Hindi singers improving themselves as time goes on... Tamil
is not an easy language... For those who mastered it because they are
born Tamizhan, they don't find it hard (but some still struggling to
speak properly)... It's a great thing when Hindi singers can actually
sing in a language not only they don't understand but which is very
hard for them..

How many of us speak the language perfectly by the way? Most of us are
mixing our mother-tongue with EnglishAre we perfect enough to
protect the language?

Imagine Marudhani without Madhushree... ARR knows what he's doing..

Why doesn't he attempt something like this in Hindi? Why doesn't he

Is it because of the fear of producers or is it because Rahman

[arr] Slumdog box office in USA

2008-11-28 Thread arunsoft2k
Guys something I have never seen in Yahoo Box office charts

http://movies.yahoo.com/mv/boxoffice/

Slumdog has reached #11 this week in Boxoffice collection. The most
amazing fact is that it has been released only in 32 theaters and
still managed to climb up to 11!!!
The top 10 movies are released atleast in 1000 theaters except The
boy in the stripped pajamas which is only 406
I hope they release SDM in more theaters and make this movie a good
commercial success too!!!

and this boxoffice info backs up all good reviews we've been seeing al
over the web since the movie released!!!

Congrats Team SDM

[arr] When REVIVAL (VandeMataram) played on 93.5 FM......

2008-11-28 Thread Dinesh Vaidya
Thursday evening (27'th Nov ) in Pune... Terrorist attacks were on in
Mumbai... At 6PM, on S-FM 93.5, Pune Police chief gave a public
broadcast about dos' and dont's during these testing times. The
message was quite grim and conveyed the seriousness of the situation...

The message ended and without any announcement sounds of Rahman's
REVIVAL (VandeMataram) filled the air It felt so reassuring, as if
someone is soothing / calming the frayed nerves

I stopped my car on the side of road.. I could not continue my
journey as my eyes were filled with tears

Rahman's music has healing touch it's a pity that these terrorists
have not heard Rahman's music

May God give strength to the families of those who died in these
attacks, to overcome this huge tragedy.
