Hi people... I am not sure if ARR has agreed to work on telugu PULI for which shooting is starting within 2 months. PULI is going to be a political action thriller starring Pawan Kalyan. It is going to have some high tech action scenes. Technically, it is going to be a brilliant movie with some of the top most crew in the industry. People make Loop CDs and sample banks specially for composers to use in their music. I dont think there is any composer in the world who has worked without samples and loops. Warning : DO NOT GET SHOCKED HEARING THESE SAMPLES, THESE SAMPLES ARE MADE BEFORE A. R. RAHMAN'S MUNBE MUNBE VAA!!! I can say, that everybody uses samples, wheter they are beats or sounds. Every producers gets inspired by some samples. Even A. R. Rahman, the biggist composer of these times, uses samples in his music arts. [arr] Dallas Concert Rocked !!!
Hi all... I was there at the Dallas Concert. It rocked. The songs that they played were the same that they played at other shows. I have some videos and pictures which i will upload soon. The last two songs of the concert were Humma humma and Vande Mataram. Just before ARR started singere Humma humma, he sang lines from Anbe Aaruyire. It was absolutely amazing. He didnt sing Anbe Aaruyire at any other concert. It was just at the dallas concert and it was a total treat. Wish he had sung the entire song. Kunal.

A lot of people in this group have been mistaking Neethi for Tanvi. The person who sang Mayya Mayya, Barso Re, Ni Mein Samaj Gayi and Ramta Jogi is Neethi. for the SFO (Oakland) concert. Neethi is a new singer in Rahman's team. She hasnt sung any movie songs for Rahman till date. Maybe after the US tour, we might get to hear Neethi in some of his movies. Kunal.

Hello Mathi... Radio Stations do something that is called Radio Edit. This is done to reduce the length of a song in order to save some air time. This is done all over the world. I am sure it is not going to be like that in the movie. It is just the version that is on the Radio. Kunal.

Ofcourse you cant expect the picturisation to be like a mani ratnam or shankar movie. but atleast he is a lot better than the other directors. Hi everbody, I feel that so far only THE HINDU has given the perfect review for Ah Aah. The Deccan Herald review was not worth reading at all. It purely shows the writers personal feelings about suryah. And i feel that all the songs have been picturised quite nice. The Mailiragey song has been picturised in a very creative way. You guys watch that song again and you will know how creatively it has been picturised. Also the Varugirai song is really really vreatively picturised. The only let down is the Thazhuvudu song. Hi guys, Ah Aah released and the movie is running to packed houses everywhere. The general audience response is that the movie is average. but i liked the movie a lot. everybody has worked hard in the movie. The BGMs are wonderful. The instrumental of mailiragey and thigu thigu are wonderful. But the highlight BGM is the illusion theme music. The humming is wonderful. Hi Vasanth. I read ur mail saying that the audio of NEW was average and about the director with whom Rahman is working. I think that the songs of NEW were amazing and far better than many other songs from some movies released last year. Same goes for the director S.J.Suryah. He is a good director who has always done well in all his movies. ARR never works with any director for a second time unless he thinks that the director has some talent or the director can really make something good. Rahman composed for NEW , now for Aa AAh and next will be composing for S.J.Suryah's next movie AC in which Simbu stars.
