Of course its one of my fav from blue. But on first two listens did
not understand it. It slowly grows on me and now cant skip it. Style
is so good for international appeal due to lot of jazzy tunes. Also
the sexy voice of suki is cool. Has some bits of mr edukatchi in it...

Re: [arr] Re: Unveiling the soundtrack of Couples Retreat -Guessing Singers

2009-09-25 Thread Niven Ramasamy
Couples retreat is indeed a treat :-) . Im listening in loop. The
album music is very visual and i tend to picturise the music with what
we've seen in videos online. And im getting to the conclusion about
the pic where rahman is with the great vangelis. I think they met to
share their musical creation knowledge when doing score for a film. I
guess our boss wanted to get hints on what the hollywood audience
wants to hear and this gives him a distance ahead to come out with a
good hollywood soundtrack. And no doubt it turns out to be a
masterpiece as usual :-)

At last some interesting discussion in this group. This was the things
we used to talk about in early days of the group. So many examples are
there in old messages.
Now that you came up with these, i will put in my part soon as im very
keen to discover new sounds in rahman music. As he uses so many odd
and subtle effects in all his compositions.

Re: [arr] Love for ARR and Rahmaniacs

2008-10-22 Thread Niven Ramasamy
As I told Vithur, we are in this group thanks to two Gods , The
Almighty and The God of Music (Allah Rakah Rahman). Our actions are
possible thanks to them.

ALL PRAISES GOES TO THEM... ;-)

Loving GOD, Loving Rahman's music is our reward.
