Hi Guys, I am keen to find out the ragam for the brilliant instrumental bit that Rahman plays in the Continuum which sounds like Carnatic Classical at the end of the song in Rehna Tu. I am sure someone from the group would know. Would be great if you could let me know. Cheers, Shiva

What can bring you peace? His many songs... ARR is not a warrior, he is quite certainly a God. He is a simple man. But history has proved that many simple man have done great deeds. Not for themselves, but for the benefit of others... ARR, likewise, has been amongst the 1st to come forward in support of various causes... 'Taj Anthem' in more than 8 languages 'Tsunami' song... listen to it & u can feel the pain & suffering.. 'Banyan Theme' giving hope to those who have lost it.. and above all Vande Mataram... many generations will come & go... but this album with stay FOREVER. u don't have to sacrifice ur life, and prove that u deserve a Bharat Ratna. I believe every soul that can bring peace to one's heart... deserves recognition... be that in any form. ARR is not the GOD of MUSIC... I c sumbudy refering Sindhu Bhairavi... that was a classic... How about Sangamam? It is the only movie in which ARR has not used any electronic instruments... just pure music... a new face of carnatic music... Shankar Mahadevan's Varaha Nadikarai is an evergreen song... and then there is one song Margali thingal... which has Janaki madam's melodious voice (who says no one can match Lata Mangeshkar)... Hariharan's Mazhi thuli sangamam song in the end can bring tears... not only the music but the lyrics was also so touching in that song (hats off to vairamuthu)... i dunno if there is any kind of music which ARR has not explored... i've listened the LOTR BGM which was posted in this site a few days back... it is great... wotsay guys...?
