It will be another 10 days before the Commonwealth Games theme song is 
officially launched but Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman on Monday promised 
it 
would be worth the wait as his ‘Yaaro India bula liya’ would be unlike anything 
that has happened before.
Rahman said the song would go beyond Shakira’s chart-buster for this year’s 
soccer World Cup ‘Waka Waka’
Rahman said the launch of the song will have to wait some more because he is 
still giving some final touches.
“I have been working on the song for the past six months.
It is in my voice with a chorus and I promise that it will be a big part of the 
celebration and will be unlike anything that has happened before in India,” the 
celebrated musician told reporters.
Rahman, however, refused to give details about the song beyond the opening line 
‘Yaaro India bula liya’, saying it would be better if it is launched properly.
“I can’t reveal much because I have to tweak the lyrics a bit and add some 
sound 
elements. But the song is about India, about energy, winning and not giving up. 
We want the crowd to sing along with us at the opening ceremony. It is simple 
but not simplistic,” he said.
When asked whether the song will manage to overshadow Shakira’s popular 
football 
World Cup anthem ‘Waka Waka’, Rahman said it is “exactly no” Waka Waka’
“It is not ‘Waka Waka’ We wanted to go beyond it. It is complex, difficult to 
explain but I am sure you will like it when you hear it,” he added.
Rahman has also planned an orchestra and a dedication to the country’s cultural 
heritage and Mahatma Gandhi.
“I have cancelled all my prior engagements to prepare this theme so you can 
understand how serious I am about this,” he added.
Rahman said that he was initially apprehensive whether the GoM will like the 
song but they liked the song.
“I was a little bit apprehensive if they will like it because the Group of 
Minister consist of aged people but they all liked and approved it,” he said.
Organising committee chairman Suresh Kalmadi said the theme will make every 
Indian proud.
“The GOM gave us their consent in the 26th meeting yesterday and I am sure 
Rahman’s song will make every Indian happy and it will spread awareness,” he 
said.
The opening ceremony will have Rahman performing live.
Filmmaker Shyam Benegal, who heads the CWG cultural committee, was also present 
along with noted dancer Shovana Narayan, creative head of the committee Bharat 
Bala and director of Wizcraft International Entertainment, Viraf Sarkari.

Of these three albums from ARR this year, for sure, VTV will be the front 
runner 
for National Awards 2010 in film music direction category.

I am hoping that VTV will bring him this award for best music direction for the 
record number of times. What a lovely music it is!

ARRs voice is the only reason, and the way he rendered it in a relatively 
complex song (has lots of up and down moments in terms of pitching) is simply 
superb. never imagined that i wud hear such a shade of voice from ARR.

ARRs rendition kindles my hormones!! ! ARR should seriously consider singing 
english songs in upcoming hollywood albums/ventures.

As far as I know, this site only sells official DVDs. I bought a lot of Telugu 
movies from here and I also bought Vaaranam Aayiram and Aayutha Ezhuthu from 
there.
 
I plan to order a copy soon!

Madhushree has tweeted that she has sung all 3 versions (Tamil, Telugu and 
Hindi) version of her song in Endhiran. This has given us Madhushree fans a BIG 
dream. But we was disapointed with sir only retaining her voice in the Hindi 
version. We know you know the best, but it really shattered our dreams. The 
Madhushree's voice in your composition simply means MAGIC. For instance the 
ghazal songs of Tehzeeb, Sandai Kozhi Kozhi - Aayitha Ezhutu, Marudhani - 
Sakarakatti, Vaaji Vaaji - Sivaji, etc etc... 


I do hope Sir will compensate with giving us more Madhushree numbers in the 
future... I seriously hope...

tells that singing for Aishwarya in the film was an amazing experience. I'm 
excited about that song. Madhu's top voice, Rahman's top-notch music and Aish's

I think posting declared fake lists in this group is fun. I enjoyed 
all fake lists in past. A lot of thinking and efforts goes in creating 
in a "real"-like fake list.

However, wiki is an almost authentic reference source for information 
worldwide. Wiki is a no-profit work intended to help the world for 
free. Posting fake lists there undermines the authenticity of wiki. I 
request members not to do that.

Post all fake lists here. But do tell beforehand that it is a fake 
list so that people don't feel cheated when they come to know that it 
was fake.

Because Raavan and Raavana are already booked by some other Telugu producer.


Same happened during Guru. They had to change it to Gurukanth in the Telugu 
version.

But I think Villian is a good title.

Just the usual well known dopes about the movie but adds on that the Hindi 
trailer featuring abishek and aishwarya has got good reception from the public, 
so Mani is busy working on releasing the Tamil trailer featuring Vikram and 
aishwarya before the audio launch on 24th April.

Oh ok, thanks Rivjot. But I'm just having a feeling that Asha has just sung the 
Tamil version of the song that either Reena Bharadwaj or Rekha Bharawdaj has 
sung. But no doubt that the first six songs released by BollywoodHungama.com 
are authentic. I'm just waiting if there are any more that they are missing out 
on, like the Tandav dance that had been reported to have shot.

Jodhaa Akbar! It definitely fits the bill perfectly. I loved Guru but Jodhaa 
Akbar was just a notch higher! The lovely music, grand, eloquent sets and 
dances, stunning designs and jewellery, wonderful performances, the 
mega-super-beautiful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, humbling saga, wonderful BGM(JA is 
the greatest BGM ever, I believe), lovely songs, everything is perfect with 
this movie! As I said, Guru comes a close second!

[arr] Exclusive : Raavan and Endhiran release dates confirmed

The release date of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachhcan starrer 
"Raavan" directed by Mani Ratnam has been confirmed to June 18th. That means we 
can expect the music to hit the stores in early May!! (Remember, Mani's last 
film 'Guru' with AbhiAsh relesed on Jan 12th 2007 whereas the music was out on 
November 18th, 2006!)

This will be ARR's 9th film with Ash! It also stars the likes of Vikram, 
Govinda and Priyamani! It is to be remembered that Gulzar is writing the lyrics 
of the high budget magnum opus! This is the most awaited Bollywood film after 
the year!

Another huge film "Endhiran" starring Rajnikanth and Ash again is said to be 
90% complete and is readying itself for a Diwali release(November 5th).

With both the films, Ash will become the first ever actor to do 10 films with

He says how he hasn't changed and remained grounded!!
SPB said ARR had given his first performance where he was the chief guest and 
the second solo performance was during SPB's birthday
He also says how ARR's father Shekhar worked hard as an arranger with the music 
directors in Malayalam and he says it is with his father's
 help, SPB got a break in the industry!
He also said that when he congratulated Rahman when he got "Roja" 
Rahman had said that he'll not be able to 
survive the competetion and will disappear within 5 years, but everything he's 
done is history since then!
Finaly, he sings a song from "Roja" in Telugu with Suneetha (who kills the

That's the best classic Rahman has ever done!! Jodhaa-Akbar is a truly great

nor an atrocious movie.

[arr] 'Blue' is a BIG Flop

We guys have to accept that 'Blue' is a huge failure!! Somebody had said that 
the film raked Rs.6.5 crore on the opening day..But then you should know that 
the first day numbers are all because of the pre-release hype!! Also, the flops 
'Kambakkht Ishq' had collected Rs.7.5 Crore on the first day, though it 
flopped!!
Also, the film is worth nothing, I went to the film very excited as it was the 
first underwater film in India, but came out yawning.Lara Dutta's bikinis can't 
save the film, neither can Kylie Minogue with her Chiggy-Wiggy jig! And 
Katrina, she is great!! She proves it again to everybody even in her 7 minute 
20 second cameo that she cannot act!!
The so called action sequences for which, allegedly, crores of rupees have been 
spent are the only ones worth watching!!
The great BG work by ARR makes it really interesting!
Reul Pookutty's work is also commendable!
Anthony also picks jaw-droppingly beautiful locations like the Bahamas!
But the low IQ dialogues and the weak script make it a dim-witted thriller!
Also, the Climax is inadvertantly hilarious!! You will be laughing at places 
where you should be glued to the screen!!

Aishwarya Rai was great in the film, You'll note that if you see something 
beyond her looks and beauty!!
Jodhaa-Akbar is an iconic film with iconic music!!
The songs were the best in the year 2008 and the BGM was the best ever!! The 
BGM is my all-time favourite!!

internet for the track "Ekam Satyam" i came to know that the track was produced 
along with Michael Jackson, with Sanskrit and English Lyrics. Does any one of 
you have this song?? if yes, how can i get them?? any help would be highly 
appreciated. Also, there is a complete Hindi song available on Internet Sung by 
ARR which people have named as "Ekam Satyam",  which is that song??
