They had requested Rahman to let them know of any producer in Chennai, who could be laid faith on, and Rahman immediately showed hands of that of Dhanu. At that particular time I had decided that things should change for musicians and unfortunately Shah Rukh Khan was the first victim of that decision. But now people have understood my stand that I want to share the music rights of my compositions. What do you hope to achieve through your recently established music conservatory? Youngsters today are not interested in playing instruments like the violin or trumpet and it is vital for the future that we encourage them to do so. The syllabus I have drawn up will train musicians to be both classical and electronic musicians, which is necessary today. The concert An impressive line-up of singers and musicians will perform along with A.R. Rahman at his concert on April 18. These include well-known singers Hariharan, Chitra, Sadhana Sargam, Karthik, BlaaZe, Madhushree, Mohammad Aslam and percussionist Sivamani as well as upcoming talents Neeti Mohan, Naresh Iyer (Patshala and Rubaroo), Javed Ali (Jashn-E-Bahara) and Benny Dayal (Balleilakka from Sivaji). Cheif minister of Rajasthan feliciated Rahman Just for the Rahman show..The venue size was extended and there was a huge turnout...We saw the show from diffrent angles :) At the end,It was a good effort from Rahman and his team and people of Jaipur really enjoyed it. Rahman showed to Jaipur..Why he is A.R Rahman :-) .Everyone was intrested in seeing rahman perform.Police had a tough time in controlling the crowd..A Police guy was like..You didnt have so much crowd all these days...,Then..my eyes lit up..and i said to him..Sirji..Yeh A.R Rahman hai.. This is one of ARR's greatest work!!I just have one complaint..in the mayiliragai..in the starting I dont know y the female singer hums abruptly ending the nice nadaswaram music..her voice sounds like janaki..I cant stand her voice!!looks awkward!! otherwise the song is another snehithane!! Though Tamil ARR fans ever eager for this album, which was due the reason that he didn't have any tamil release for nearly 14 months, many were not then keen with ARR's association with SJ Surya. Many were not that satisfied with NEW and also didn't expect anything ROCKING from AH AAH. But such negative publicity has favoured this, no would have expected such a GREAT album from ARR-SJS pair. Even while hearing the songs in trailer, it didn't sound impressive, but hearing the full tracks, we keep saying ah aah. Definitly, AH AAH will end up in ARR's all time best list. This album will prove advantagous for up coming movies like Godfather, which is running with problems. Also, it was nice to hear from ARR itself that no more Period Films for time being and all upcoming will be commercial. ARR is a bit disappointed that his hard work are not well picturised and going wasted as background. The main reason for ARR to continue his association with SJS, is the wat he picturised NEW songs. It seems ARR was very much impressed with his work, when other dir letdown ARR's work on screen.
