[arr] Re: Raavan/Raavanan differences and observations.......

2010-05-04 Thread sulluongroup
The Tamil lyrics r the worst.
After hearing Hindi Raavan & listing to the Tamil version..The songs are
spoiled by the Lyrics.
Vairamuthu has gone v old.
Hindi Raavan the Best.

[arr] In Lamho - Best choice for the Instrumental version

2008-01-23 Thread sulluongroup
Hi All,

I feel In Lamho is the best choice for the instrumental out of the
other songs from JA.The reason is that In Lamho song has lot of
variations (Ups & Downs).
The 2 instrumentals (Kwhaja & Jashn-e) makes less impression even
though they are good to hear.

Regards,
ARR Fan.

[arr] Re: Unaale unaale better than sivaji???

2007-04-10 Thread sulluongroup
Mr Appu,

As per ur view/comments I spent some time to hear ur frienz beloved
HJ's Unnale Unnale songs...
Btw,what is ur opinion abt Unnale Unnale songs?Just to know. :)

U can better suggest ur frienz to get all HJ CDs n ask them to listen
all HJ songs except vaseegara... ask them to pick a song from the
rest of the HJ music and rate it to any song from ARR..

We (Rahman Fans) repeat again n again n again ...Rahman cannot be
compared or even talked with any of the MDs in the indian cinema.
He is a musical genius and have proved already...n nobody can cause
damage to his musicand dont ever try for tht..by pulling some
copy cats like HJ and so...
Thats All.

Sullu.

[arr] Sivaji Review.

2007-03-31 Thread sulluongroup

Hi ,

I heard all the songs from sivaji today ..
And I would like to give my thought on the songs..

Here u go..

1)Balleilakka : (S.P. Balasubramaniam, Raihanah, Benny & Chorus)..9/10.

Well.It luks like the intro song...
The lyrics r awesome..
Since it is by SPB ..u feel similarity with thevudu thevuda song.
this one will be liked by people from the first hearing..
some beats remind me the kummi adi song from SOK.
The best intro song for rajini

2)Athiradee : (A.R. Rahman & Sayanora)...8/10.

Very new to tamil music..
ARR Voice is too gud...
I wonder how he keeps changing his voice so well between movies..
Mind it,this song needs too many hearingsand reviewing this will be
tough for every one for sure...
Sounds to me like an old age song with new music..
Not sure whether this song will suite for rajni ..

3)Vaaji Vaaji : (Hariharan, Madhusree & Chorus)...8/10.

This song is a slow poison and sure ll be liked by many after few
hearings...
I feel this song is too much tamilized in terms of lyrics..with
aaambal..mouvval...any tamil teachers out thr?plz help to through the
meaning.

4)Sahana : (Udit Narayanan & Chinmayi)...10/10.

Well..again.no need to review this song...
the fact is tht ,this song already stole many hearts at its very first
hearing...shara pookal..going to take so many rounds around the world.
I feel udit is the best choice for this song..whn he takes like
ooraayiram aandugal semitha .its sound gud with his voice than any
one..

5)Style : (Rags, Blaaze, Tanvi & Suresh Peters)8/10.

Its very stylish song and will catch the youth very easily..especially
the children will like this song more...
Its very new to tamil music...and the gud news that the ring tones r
doing gud with this song already..

6) The Boss : (Blaaze, Naresh Iyer & Raqueeb Alam)...8/10.

It looks like a theme music...with all the rajini punch dialogs...
sachin adicha sixer thaan da..sivaji adicha puncher thaan da...
The instrumentation is very gud in this song...

7)Sahana : (Vijay Yesudass, Gomathi Sree & Chorus)..10/10.

Finally, the sad version of sahara...by vijay yesudaas and gomathi sree
combination..simply superb...the flute is excellent ...snd gomathi sree
has done an excellent job mermarizing voice..

Over all.. Its the best from Rahman for Rajini...and I feel sivaji will
be a super hit with Balleilakka ,Sahara,Style songs toping the chart..

Not sure whether I ve composed my review in a better way ..but I am
happy with Sivaji songs ..

I hope to hear more gud reviews from all the fans out thr in this
group...especially from our friend SAM :)

There is so much to hear from Rahman..

Cheers,
sullu.

[arr] The Unique formula..n the Gr8 Humming

2006-12-04 Thread sulluongroup
Hi All,

I just was running all the Rahman songs in my mind ..
starting from ROJA and ends with GURU..
one thing i have noticed in most of his songs ..is the repeatation..
What
Yes he started with chinna chinna asai (Chinna repeats here) and
finally ends with dhum tara dhum tara ...
so in between these 2 songs ...do u guys know how many songs has the
same unique style..anybody with exact figure is welcome
what a way to start the song with this unique style which one n only
belongs to him...
Few more examples ...

Rukmani Rukmani...(roja)
Tamila Tamila...(roja)
Sambo sambo...(puthiya mugam)
Chayya chayyya..or thayya thayya.(dilse/uyire)
nenjinile nenjinile...(uyire)
thanha thanha ...(rangeela)
mayilirage mayilirage..(anbe aruyire)
machakaari machakaari (SOK)
ahistha ahistha... (swades)

I have given the examples in a random..but the list is going to be
to long if u review urself...

Also,

thr is nobody who has given humming like him..just only listen to
the hummings form all his songswhat a way to deliver ...
he started with elaylo ..from roja ..and i dont have to say much abt
GURU i think...
Hmmm..
few master blaster ...

suntha he mera hutha... (pukar)
sande koli (ayutha eluthu/yuva)
fanaaa (yuva)..
theeyil viluntha (god father)
lukka chuppi ..(RDB)
Anjali ..(Duet)
Kalayil thinamum..(New)...

and the list goes on like a spaghetti
Nobody can give these music except u ...the musical genius..
I hope somebody will come up with some other undiscovered wonders
about the songs ...
Your suggestions ,comments on this plz

Cheers ,
sullu

[arr] Letter to Respected Genius...

2006-11-30 Thread sulluongroup
Hi All,

This mail comes as a request to Mr.A R Rahman ..the Musical Genius..n
the Great human personality ...

I am happy and proud that your music is reaching through many ears
around the world...
But what I,even most of your fans expect from you is an International
Album...not an Indian album like Vandematharam..
An International album that should be heard by almost all ears around
the worldby
asians...english ..africans...americans...arabians...simply by
everyone in the world.
I describe what i am expecting and feeling to hear from the
International Album ...

A complete western songwhich should turn the western countries to
you ..to india...and which sould be 100% better than what the queens
like jenifor,madona..britny or michel or whoever it is ...

One pure Arabic songthat should make all the sheiks should shake
your hand..

A fast track energetic western song tht sould make everyone in
the world should jump n dance n wake up .

and apart from tht ...one classical indian song...which should convey
the world about the Indian talent.

May be my expectations seems to be high...but this exactly is what i
am expecting from you and there are more examples of
International songs which are liked by all kind of people in the
world..
I hope my wish n request n expectation ll be heard by u ...n whn I
ask an english guy fo the next time ...have u heard about A R
Rahman...without mentioning your Bombay Dreams...he should
immediately say ya I know

Proud to be a Fan of you..

Cheers,
Sullu
