[arr] Re: Blog review of Puli - Qn to ARR?

2010-07-20 Thread theepr
I have really No idea why these people hates "Nammakkame", A Branded song by
ARR like any of his Vintage composition those made rahman himself as a Trade
Mark of Music.
Is these people really hated ARRs "asia Net"theme...
Or stated "O paalanuhare" as a worst, copied, song cant even ears accept and
not be made one like this ever more?
so, (don't know )why "Nammakame"?

while some other critics feels nowadays ARR is not like in his vintage style,
and he gives a gem song like his vintage "Asia Net theme" or
"Arraro-Karuthamma".again these peoples says a copy of old tune and should not
be made like thiswhats the point of thispeople please come to an
understanding first what U really looking for?

the Problem is really not in ARR's Music its all in Ur mind...

I really really want songs like "Nammakame" that No one ever capable to do
such..its true iconic compositions only from him.

whenever a 'asthosh' movie been proposed I will be eagerly looking forward for
a gem composition like this and It happened until "Jodha Akbar" . though I'm
still thirst to hear more on those genre, surely I will

[arr] Indira Theme - Rahmaniac Creation

2010-07-20 Thread theepr
Dear folks,

This is My first ever completed piece of Work to share. plz have a look. make
Ur valuable comments.

.IS A STRING INSTRUMENTAL
The whole work is done using nothing but a PC with available Virtual
Instruments and Music Production software. only "computer Key Board" has been
used to make Tones.

Hope U all like and...my consideration mostly on reproducing ARR's Very
Rare, very Old , Hard to get Music pieces which are mostly film background
scores.

The Fellow Rahmaniacs also can have a request on their favorite music pieces. I
will try my best, at least a good experimental. But one thing : I don't have a
Professional equipped/Home Studio, Instruments, Instrument Players or
Vocalist. It is only me and my PC.

All Praises goes to my Guru "ARR". accept my apologies If I'm not quiet live up
with my master's Tune. but also let me keep practicing on his tune since I only
influenced by him and he is my guruI also believe all it is by the
spirit of himself lives inside me

Re: [arr] Question Regarding Parkathey Parkathey

2010-07-20 Thread theepr
It is absolutely 'Srinivas' in that song, no one else.He started to work with
ARR from Gentle man onwards. Srinivas joined with ARR in 1993 right after
Puthiya mugam. But He was working on Chorus and BGMs only. In the same movie
"gentleman" he also gave the voice in a Background humming along with Sujatha.
He sang the Alternative version of "raasathi" for the Movie "Thiruda Thiruda"
same year. Which is features in Movies BGM only.

[arr] Indira Theme - Rahmaniac Creat

2010-07-17 Thread theepr
Dear folks,

This is My first ever completed piece of Work to share. plz have a look.
make ur valuable comments.

.IS A STRING INSTRUMENTAL
The whole work is done using nothing but a PC with available Virtual
Instruments and Music Production software. only "computer Key Board" has
been used to make Tones.

Hope U al like and...my consideration mostly on reproducing ARR's
Very Rare, very Old , Hard to get Music pieces which are mostly film
background scores.

The Fellow Rahmaniacs also can have a request on their favorite music
pieces. I will try my best, at least a good experimental. But one thing
: I don't have a Professional equipped/Home Studio, Instruments,
Instrument Players or Vocalist. It is only me and my PC.

All Praises goes to my Guru "ARR". accept my apologies If I'm not quiet
live up with my master's Tune. but also let me keep practicing on his
tune since I only influenced by him and he is my guruI also
believe all it is by the spirit of himself lives inside me

plz find the work:

[arr] Re: AMMA THALE Wooohooo !

2010-07-13 Thread theepr
Ya Amma thalee too superb among other 2,'maaralante' and 'nanmakame'.
in my opinion "Nammakame" is far more best track seems and remains as
ARR's 90's composition. By all its Tone, music, arrangements and
simplicity (he has not much put layers of decorations on original sounds
instead let them be as it is and simple). The feeling of the song and
the Rhythmic pattern in BG is remarkable in his Vintages comps. remind
the style of "Shamasundara" (asianet) and "araro"(karuthamma) .May B
this may have some story behind this song...I request any one to bring
it out if u can..
And Thanx for Taimoor and all other Rahmaniacs to leave good thoughts on
"Puli" ,rather not like "raavan" OR "VTV".

"...when it comes from the Studios of AR, will even make every Goddess
up" in my opinion I only found 'Veena' may even sound wonderful
this much is only by ARR. no where else...honestly saying, not
only "veena" there are a list of instruments and Effects to add to this
List..
I have been in a research more than 14 yrs, that how had ARR come up
with a "veena" sounds in the interludes just B4 Kalyanimenon's part
"kuluvalile", while even a fluent proffessional Veena player cant come
up a idea like it.
PS: plz dont forget the same 'veena' cries on "vidukathaya" end part
from "muthu"

Re: [arr] Sugar in diesel engine scene's BGM

2010-06-27 Thread theepr
Its good as ARR's Old BGMs.
In my opinion Raavan BGM totally up to the ARR standard
to remember some..
A acoustic style Flute+string Bgm plays almost 3 or 4 time in Tamil
Raavanan unfortunately its only once in Hindi Raavan. (Where "ragini"
wears saree and "Veera"commenting on it). it is purely a Music brings U
into a other world.(it is also plays where "veera" talks to "raagini"
infront of the statue, and again after "veera" talks to her during she
tied to a tree and pointed the gun to him - only in Tamil Raavanan - in
hindi its start with the same but then changed to the song - "jaad ud
Jaare") but it is very much remember me a hollywood score it is very
similar in tune too.

"en asai neeya" the line from "kalvare" by Shreya in Tamil and the
respective Hindi version is just cute bit plays in mix of some effects,
just B4 the song "Kalvare" or "Khile re" starts.

A Female humming(balgarian vox?) plays back in several places(when 'dev'
speaks to veera's brother in law and sugar in diesel tank seen and more)
and a male chorus (vennila's body been take from Well) too are
beautiful.

the Strings Music plays following to the above said Femal hmming, while
"raagni" calls/cries for "dav" in the shores of river is appealing a
lot.

A sarangi Cries in the tone of "Naan Varuven" or "jaad ud Jaare" while
"vennila" cries is Absolutely a vintage rahmantic style BGM after a very
long time. earlier he used to use this type music for sad scenes.

finally when "veera" shot and falling down, any other surrounding sound
effects stops and a song starts to play..do I
really need to tell about that, I cant, bcos I can only just feel it. an
atheist also will come to believe in divine.

altogether Ravanan/Raavan BGM is ARR another piece of Great work,
eagerly waits for DVDs for rip music.

That Particular Part not by Mani or Santhosh, instead Its by our ARR. He
completely rewritten the Scene with his pure magic, absolute soul
filling, enough reason to view RAAVANAN/RAAVAN
@dass, it is not really true "after a long time". I believe that
while ARR made 6 songs for MANI's "Raavan" He made one song Him self.
"Oru Pillai Eluthum kirukal thaan Vaazkaiyo...Athil arthum thedi

enough for next 10 year of listening..!

ya.obviously also in "hey" 4:57 loops... it is all happens bcos of our boss not
leaving any of tracks he records useless he mix it up and give the best he can.

this kind of thing also visible in, ADA the interlude come in 3:13 of "Tu mera
Hai" is also used in "Dil gira gafatun" in Delhi 6.

Back groud scoring of "Elai" from "Sakkarakati" also feature in
"Aaj Dil" from "Blue"

"ATM" BGM features in "Slumdog Millionaire"

I just watched "VTV" today and strongly feel "dreams of fire" from "SDM"
beginning part used in the for one of the BGM.

dear gopal
thanx 4 ur msg.
My point is this Arr's Music should reach all his music lovers in a proper way
that any one affordable to get Legally. otherwise it may mislead to a one to
own a pirated copy.
i could demonstrate one example:
--
Blue -Telugu Digital download is $6.23. so due to today's currency rate its
cost me 712.525 LKR. keep in mind this is not even a full quality release (mp3).
If same available in Audio CD its only cost me 600.00 LKR also keep in mind
that is a Full Quality Audio (not mp3).
so what this speaks? will I be motivated to buy an Digital ver.
obviously not.
==
that is all about it..

All these issues leads a 'rahmaniac' like me or anyone likes me to over come
with an Pirated version of music by threatening the Privacy Policy of my Boss's
Music. Bcos dont u (they) realize that people like me r still not affordable to
do such Amazon shopping or else(Credit Card-Delivery-trustworthy-Audio Quality
issues there)

I never fulfill just by downloading songs and the appropriate cover arts and
then putting all in a folder then rename them as "SIvaji-Hindi" OR "Blue -
Telugu" voila I got Original Audio.

I feel all my Original ARR Cds are like a treasure and Im a Relic Hunter. evry
time i will try to collect them physically.

available in www.analogx.com it will support mp3 format more than

ogg file represent multitrack due to that u may face some problems
when u gooing to remove vocals; and u can use ACID PRO (software)with
this DX plugin

[arr] all about GF similar

2006-02-19 Thread theepr
As an A.R.R's greate fan I just wonna explain all about the GF 'Katril'
similarities that topic have been taken out by some other our fans group
members.He/She/they have/has said that perticular song containing some
similarities to harish jeyaraj's "patthu viral unakku" song from Arul;
There are some posibilities to think like that but its defeaneatly wrong
however, Most of the guys(I have also seen personally; some have said
there are similarities;wherever the same instrument used) are think
;some particular beats and Instrumental sounds are as same as;although
they used them in deferent Tones. But actually only the sound of that
particular music scores are reflecting as same. most in case the
'dholak' Instrument's sound will reflect as same whenever it using by
compositions. In this case also same; Both of the song has used the
instrument 'dhoalk' for percussion/beat.that's all.No more with that two
tracks.the Tones defeneatly deferent.really the two song's particular
'dholak' beat also not same.Still if u think as same ;I wonna say an
other thing; That A.R.R already most of time has used 'dholak' in some
songs.U can clearly hear that from the song 'Nee than en deshiya
geetham' from the movie 'Paarthale Paravasum'.so,if there any similarity
or imitations it should remember  this song (also).If it,In that case;
The song "patthu viral unakku" only contain the similar beat of our
Boss's 'Nee than en deshiya geetham' (this compose earlier than 'Arul')
not Boss's 'Katril'. however, using an same instrument can't be a
copy/similar/ an another think if u have thought about
similarities;defeneatly U should have found out some of the following. I
will say the real similarities or inspiration of 'Katril' song step by
step; 'Katril ohr vaarthai methanthu varakkanden' in this lyrics just
keep mind OR hump it ; the first two words u can find clear similarity
of 'Enge enathu kavithy' from 'Kandukonden kandukonden' also the
particular line 'Bhavan eh Jeevan ' from 'Gopalanuhare ' from 'lagaaan'
;and now listen the fourth word 'methanthu' it similar to 'suttum villi
sudar' song's second line 'suriya chanthiraro' from 'Kandukonden
kandukonden followingly consider the bit of music coming before and
between that hindi lyrics 'yehey sahirtha(OR else)' it is similar to bit
of music used in 'merarang de' from 'Legend of Bhagat sing' before
it,all should mind ; *nothing is from zero; everthing is from one; day
by day, with time when lot of tones scored ;the compositions is getting
limited. it is Mathamatics, only with a seven (Basic)keys or Raga how
many composition can do? (I leave this up to U all) by the way ,I think
we can't expect an music as very pure in coming up days and we would
never get tired to listen music.up to these kind of issuses I hope boss
one step up than all of U. he is the only genius.we all will enjoy his
grate compositions forever ever.no one barrier it. I was listening God
father Greate music when I wrote this ;I would be listening and u all
Keep enjoying our Boss's unbeatable hit.It is realy like a Big treate.
Buy!!!

Well, what can I say? Both scores are in totally different leagues
but still mindblowing in their own ways.
> Rahman is definitely every director's dream composer. His music
helps to carry the story and there is still much more one can find.
Look out for the track in Boys BGM "Boys harassing Harini", the tune,
the flute, what a kind of innosence it displays as you can see in the
film. How hard the Boys try but can't leave a good mark to Harini.
The whole soundtrack is filled with these small but nevertheless
great music (I love the flute pieces like "Munna weds Harini").
> Though I knew it before that Rahman is simply the best, he never
stops to impress his listeners again and again. Frankly said after
seeing Anniyan, I must admit that I really liked Harris Jayaraj's
songs and the score was not bad either, but every time I imagine, how
would be this if Rahman had done the compositions... I can't stop
imaging!!
> I am a student of tv and film producer in Germany and I tell you
guys, my biggest dream is it to work with A.R. Rahman one fine day.
Simply because of the reason that I know he will always satisfy a
director's desire. Anyway I don't want to write too much now, here
