Sorry to know that, Farzad. I would also have felt if I couldn't get to see that song. Still, it is now known that Aamir has allowed the song to be shown. it is that theater owner who didn't. go and talk to the manager of the cinemahall. I think they might even decide to start showing it, and might allow you to see it for free in some next show. -- V On 7/24/2008 4:45 PM India Time, _Farzad khaleel_ wrote: No Such song in theaters of Cochin. [arr] Aamir: Jaane Tu.. song will not made to the final cut on DVD
http://www.indiafm.com/news/2008/07/23/11712/index.html I dont understand what is wrong with Aamir and what problem he has with that song. It is a fantastic song, melodious and stylish (it is my most favorite from the album). while he has made a good decision to add the song back to movie I could not understand what is the point of adding it for only 2-3 weeks and why the heck not in the final cut on DVD? totally un-understandable. if he adds the song to final cut will people stop buying it or what? strange.

Re: [arr] Aamir: Jaane Tu.. song will not made to the final cut on DVD
It's my favorite number, but Mansoor, Abbas and I took a call jointly. We felt the song was only making the film lengthier. But since the results are out, the song has been added in its third week. Initially, we thought of retaining it for just one week. But looking at the feedback, we may stretch it to three weeks. However, let me add, the song will not be a part of the final cut in the DVD. It will be featured in the unseen portions, Aamir divulges.
