Re: [arr] Ajith-Gautham menon team up
May be I am the only one here who thinks like that. But I think Shanker is a self-indulgent story teller whose recent movies have been awful. The good thin being his ear for good music and showing it in a grand manner on the screen. But the content and execution of his movies are just so ordinary. I agree with Leslie. Shankar always runs on a weak story line. That is where Gautam is a class apart. Re: [arr] Ajith-Gautham menon team up
ok, after watching sakarakatti, i m convinced that any director who makes him movie a boxoffice hit and end up promoting ARRs music could be considered a good director, atleast for ARRs sake. JTYJN movie was an average movie but abbas did what he was ultimately expected to do, i.e. make the movie a box-office success; also it ended up promoting ARR songs. remember, we say JTYJN topping the charts weeks after movie release too.. I am not a tamilian and not a great tamil film buff, but its a pleasure to watch GM's movies.
