Re: [arr] Chiggy Wiggy removed from Blue

2009-09-29 Thread Din, D, Nesh
why are they actually doing this? i dun get it??? whats wrong with Kylie's
version? why must they come up with Suzzane's version to replace Kylie's and
whats worse is to remove the whole song from the movie. Its like they wanna
erase anything that is to do with Kylie.

any close members to ARR or the dir can give us a hint??

Kylie Minogue's big Bollywood debut has fizzled out. She recorded the song
Chiggy Wiggy, composed by A R Rahman, for the film Blue - which stars Akshay
Kumar, Lara Dutt, Sanjay Dutt and Zayed Khan - but it will not be used.

Minogue was paid $1-million (R7.3m) for the song, but the producers decided
not to use it because it was silly.

A source said, The film is way over budget and the producers are struggling
to complete it. Everyone expected the song to be a hit, especially since
Rahman was involved, but it was disappointing. It makes no sense to have the
song because it does not add anything to the film.

Hi,

I would say BLUE got the publicity it deserved due to inclusion and now
exclusion of Kylie Minogue to/from the movie, if its true. The film has got
good popularity already.

Doesnt matter if the song goes in the movie, we have our CDs with us, and can
continue enjoying the music.

if so, then it is an utter wastage of our man's great efforts.

They have even released the song commercially, showed it video, make it a part
of their promotions so ARR can't even use this song in some other film.

I think ARR should stop working with such producer/ director who doesn't know
his own mind, doesn't know his film's requirement and make ARR waste his time
and effort.

Google is not throwing any single hit for Chiggy Wiggy removed slashed cut
dropped, except this same mail.

Why doesn't this guy give the link or source where he got the news from.

If it turns out to be false info, this group's credibility will be injured.
