Hi Gomtesh,

I meant that when rendering the Hindi vocals, the voice is a bit 
dizzy, whereas in the Tamil verison, every word seems to be sharp.

I now feel the PITCH difference is due to the lyrics itself.

When rendering the Hindi poetry in that manner, and due to Boss not 
being comfortable with the language (Its possible, coz the film was 
made long back), he had used a subdued voice and sung normally for 
the Tamil version...

I still dont know. Somebody who has both (or either of the) originals 
may be able to confirm whether there is really a difference or not?!

Dear Fanz

Recently, someone wrote about how new things are discovered every time
you listen to the master's masterpieces.

Just recently, I was putting both the Dil Se tracks (Hindi and Tamil)
one after the other in my playist and found something interesting.

1. The Tamil rendition by the master is somewhat sharp when compared
to the Hindi track. I dont know if this has to do with MP3 conversion.

2. The interlude (one of the BEST  unparalleled in the entire TFM
till date) is a bit different in the Tamil version. It comes out sharp
and has some other wooden stick instrument mixed with the Guitar (Or
is it the Mandeline??). The sharpness makes me doubt more on the MP3
conversion...Please confirm.

3. This is not a difference. The ending effects deserve special

i just checked both tamil and hindi tracks the interludes are same guys ... the wooden stich like thing is present in both hindi and tamil versions .. but as chandra said i think boss is more sharp and energetic in the tamil version... i think the tamil lyrics is the reason for that  javed bhai has used poetic words in the hindi but in tamil as usual the song has been given a spirit of say like " iruvar- udal mannukku".. some kinda revolution u know hindi lyrics seem more subtle ... .even ee ajnabi and poonkatrile shows the same difference ... the hindi being more of a poem and subtle .. comment guys ..up84mouli [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:  Dear FanzRecently, someone wrote about how new things are discovered every timeyou listen to the master's masterpieces."Just

yup guys ...iam very sorry its gulzar .. dont know why i wrote javed probably ws listening to some other song .. and also i dont pay much attention to the lyricist and other programmers and song engineersonly rahman matters to me ... my knowledge about the fellows other than our boss , behind his masterpieces are minimal.. so please excuse me guys ... well lemme know what u thinki abt the difference in two versions ..
