Re: [arr] Lip Sincying
Thanks Gomzy for confirming this.. I have been to only one concert ( Bangalore) before of Rahman. and i felt its difficult to identify the lip syncing from that closeness. But that time i was never heard of anything called "Lip syncing" . and i never bothered. But after these allegations, i started being a bit skeptical about it and was wondering whether they are doing some mixing of of the original and the live voice in the concert for a few songs..for eg: Dil se re in LA ( towards the end i felt rahman's voice changed) . same for pachai nirame by hari haran.. I always observed people struggling to perform a Rahman Song in live orchestra.May be i doubted this to be true for Rahman himself :-) Thanks Jamshid --- On Mon, 7/28/08, Gomzy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: From: Gomzy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: [arr] Lip Sincying To: arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com Date: Monday, July 28, 2008, 3:34 AM Like I said, most of us who are regulars at concerts do not agree. Singing is LIVE at ARR concerts. There might be small additional recorded vocals, but NO lip syncing has happened that we are aware of. Re: [arr] Lip Sincying
I am not sure about the center vocals. But yes, the main music ( the samples and loops) are used from from records, but instruments like guitars, flute, violins and other major instruments are Live. Some of us have been to many of his concerts and we are sure the singing was Live ( not sure of Toronto though) On 7/28/08, Rajesh K B <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >yes it is true ..just listen to the music carefully.. it will be just > the same as original.. even the whispers u can hear .. it is very hard to > reproduce the original music in a stage.. > > > > > > On Sun, Jul 27, 2008 at 4:17 PM, jamshid TC <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >> Hi, >> >> Some of my friends pointed out that ARR and some of the other singers do >> Lip syncying for some songs in the Live concert .For eg: Toronto . >> >> Is this true ? >> >> Thanks >> Jamshid >> >> >> > > > >
