Ha Ha, Vijay, I loved your example of Michael jackson. truly, i think he is the only singer in english that most of westerner's need lyric books to understand [:)] . Also in 'They really don't care about us' song he mispronounces lot of words. Because, he want to express anger with that song. Similerly, I think Rahman gives more importance to emotions & mood of the song when singer's singing. Hi guys I would like to open a discussion on the diction which is very important in any language. we indians take advantage of our regional wey of pronouncing words. I wonder if the misspell or mis pronounce their oown language word or the stanza , how that sounds? take english , how we are careful in writing correct spellings of the words. it sure should apply to all the languages. people in recent olden days. My parents used to correct my mispronounced words for my urdu or english. ARR has mis-pronounced several times his hindi( which is in reality it is URDU words in his several songs.how about as music maestro , his orchestra or any musician did not play a correct note will he ignore it? then when singing a song why there should be som may diction flaws?
