[arr] Re: Pritam: For me, JTYJN is the music of the year !
despite the fact that Pritam is a copycat he is a nice and humble person. i appreciate him, very few among the current composers can praise others' work. Shankar, Himesh and VS are also among those very few. on the other hand I never heard any good comments about ARR from Ismail Darbar, Jatin-Lalit, Aadesh and even Sukhwinder Singh who got all his glory due to ARR's Chaiyan Chaiyan and now Jai ho. --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, Sreekrishnan R wrote: > > Pritam: For me, JTYJN is the music of the year > Joginder Tuteja, Bollywood Trade News Network > > > 2008 is coming to an end and the debate has started heating up around > the best soundtrack of the year so far. Salim Merchant of Salim - Sulaiman had also in an interview to Rediff (I think) recently said that JTYJN was according to him the ALBUM OF THE YEAR. It sure feels great to know other composers think JTYJN as deserving the top spot, but I would be very damn disappointed if JA doesn't win the ALBUM OF THE YEAR. For me an Album like JA comes once in decades.
