Re: [arr] Re: Taal & Rangeela inspired from Vangelis' compositions
hello everyone.. in rangeela the bgms featured on amir khan ie. the sound of chimes and other sounds usually in a sad mood (i dont know exactly what instrument is used to create that sound) have resemblance with vangelis score for bgm in the movie Blade runner... Mebbe in the site they are referring to that sound.. regards Akil Suvarna --- Prashanth Isaac <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Roshan, > > Good thoughtI even think this may be the > factI don't remember exactly but there may be > scenes in Taal/Rangeela where a music would have > been played for some dancing scenes or something. > > Prashanth > > Roshan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: I > believe, his piece of music might have been used in > the films, may > not be by the composer but the director (!!) like > using as a record > being played at background at certain scene or > something like that ? > any idea ? > > it is shown as uncredited isnt it ? usually > bollywood movies does not > give any credit to any of the materials that they > use from other films > or records, where as in hollywood, you can > actually see, even a small > scene from the Tom & Jerry will be properly > credited > > > > > --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, "rahmanforme" > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: > > > > Hello Everyone! > > > > I recently read in one of the sites that Taal & > Rangeela movies have > > music inspired from the famous hollywood > composer Vangelis' > > compositions. Re: [arr] Re: Taal & Rangeela inspired from Vangelis' compositions
Dont know about Vangelis but I remember one ot the Yanni's track from his album Tribute being played in the bg of Taal...cant recall the exact scene...maybe the scene where Anil & Ash (in a silver dress maybe) talking about Akshay in Anil's big studio & in the background we can see extras doing dancing practice on Yanni's track... -Vishwesh. Hi Roshan,Good thoughtI even think this may be the factI don't remember exactly but there may be scenes in Taal/Rangeela where a music would have been played for some dancing scenes or something.PrashanthRoshan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: I believe, his piece of music might have been used in the films, may not be by the composer but the director (!!) like using as a record being played at background at certain scene or something like that ? any idea ? it is shown as uncredited isnt it ? usually bollywood movies does not give any credit to any of the materials that they use from other films or records, where as in hollywood, you can actually see, even a small scene from the Tom & Jerry will be properly credited --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, "rahmanforme" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello Everyone! > > I recently read in one of the sites that Taal & Rangeela movies have > music inspired from the famous hollywood composer Vangelis' > compositions. [arr] Re: Taal & Rangeela inspired from Vangelis' compositions
I believe, his piece of music might have been used in the films, may not be by the composer but the director (!!) like using as a record being played at background at certain scene or something like that ? any idea ? it is shown as uncredited isnt it ? usually bollywood movies does not give any credit to any of the materials that they use from other films or records, where as in hollywood, you can actually see, even a small scene from the Tom & Jerry will be properly credited --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, "rahmanforme" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello Everyone! > > I recently read in one of the sites that Taal & Rangeela movies have > music inspired from the famous hollywood composer Vangelis' > compositions.
