Thats precisely what I am saying. A better choice of word by Ar wouldnt have 
given media a chance to misinterpret.

Actually, "going beyond" doesn't necessarily mean to surpass something. It can 
also mean to be different or away from something. In that light, probably ARR 
would have meant that CWG theme would be something different than Waka Waka 
rather than what was interpreted by the media.

He said we would do something beyond Waka Waka. I think he meant something 
different but his choice of word can be easily interpreted as surpass. I was 
surprised by his response initially. But having seen and heard almost every AR
