Hahaha.. You are really a funny person First of all, learn how to use paragraph when you are writing long It's kindoff mixed-up,man You hope everyone will stop talking about musical notes, raaga or something else? Why? Are you afraid that these terms will defeat your arguments Or never even heard of them before? You are talking about similarity in the tunes and don't want to talk about raaga and musical notes? Do you know what builds the tunes .Can you compose tunes without musical notes and Raaga? Or at least give me an example of a song without these terms The attachment of the midi files and musical notes of the songs is a solid proof that A.R Rahman didn't copy Perhaps you are terrified with it.. You just don't learn do you? No one here is trying to force themselves and find excuses.. Why on earth we should do that, man? We had great healthy and motivating discussion and arguments here all this while and you come here from nowhere and saying that we are not open-minded.. Look who's talking If we didn't provide any proof, then you can say that we are closed- minded but we have everything Perhaps you don't have any point to argue anymore but still don't want to give up to show your pride or something Try to listen to the midi and the real song again and again If you still found that the tunes are VERY SIMILAR as you have claimed, then you have to do something with your ears Am sure that there are many ear specialists at South Africa Actually I doubt that you are really from South Africa for some reason What's your name by the way? Just out of curiosity, where do you get original ARR audio cassettes and CDs? You can share anything about ARR in this group but what you did was not sharing but challenging If you have any doubt, you can ask a question but you straight away came up with a hasty statement saying that ARR copies You have came to a conclusion by yourself without any argument and now you feel that you can't share your opinion You said that we shouldn't say anything that ARR does is correct and once again I'm asking you what did he do wrong? I doubt you have implied meaning there We talk and discuss about Raaga and music not to show off but to share with the music lovers.. If you took it wrong, I can't help it . No one here said that he/she's the greatest fan of A.R Rahman.. I just don't understand why you are taking everything in a very negative and evil way I guess you might have some pressure in your life and trying to pour off everything using this matter . Relax, man.. Am sure everything will turn out fine if you can manage yourself Once again I would like to tell you that we are not wrong and not giving any excuses or forcing ourselves.. We don't have to, man . Are trying to say that you are doing that and trying to blame others to cover up? The conclusion is ARR DID NOT COPY MSV There is no doubt that MSV is a great composer but bare in mind that ARR is genius and have no reason to copy, okay? Some people tend to get over exited and straight away saying that A.R Rahman copies just because the songs sound similar...Well we can't say if any other music directors use sa re ga ma pa da ni because that's all we have...It's a rotation of these seven keys... Prudhvi, good comments man.To the subject, I don't understand why people says 'ARR copies'. If that's the way he works then he won't be recognised globally.I believe ARR would himself be careful in his tunes that they don't resemble any other. Well as I said earlier both songs are from the same Raaga but the tunes are quite different...If you don't believe, try to play the tunes of both songs using any musical instuments (especially flute)... You will have realize that the keys are different but both songs have the same style and arrangement (for the first line of the songs) It is undeniable that M.S Visvanathan is a great composer of his time and also a very kind human being...He has mastered Indian music very well and came up with great different tunes And yes..Kamma Karayilea indeed better than athi ennadi raakkamma.. Take Care. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: im not here to support him...but yea...the 1st line is exact same..." Hi All, Please be clear about what this group is all about Is it about only praising ARR? Every member in this group (irrespective of whether he knows some sangeetam or not) is free to express his thoughts.. If someone comes up with some doubt about ARR copying, let him prove it. If someone finds some part of a song being copied, let him produce the samples as arrfanz did. After listening to the two samples, the Music Gurus of this group can comment. One need not shout unnecessarily on one's comments. I can understand that most of the members of this group are emotionally attached not only to ARR music but also to ARR himself. Wo wo wo...Give me a break,man...Both songs do have similarities since they are from the same raaga...Have you ever heard the song ennadi raakkamma by the way? It doesn't matter when the yahoo ID created and when a person joins this group, look at the point he's trying to say..Take the good ones and leave the bad ones, man!!! Are you trying to say that you have no other things to do than checking the history of others' Yahoo account?? Here is a good piece of advice to you...You can be a good music lover..No doubt about it..But if you want to comment on music learn some sangeetham please...Or at least have basics of it...Try to have wide dimension in music..
