Apply a template of Visible Columns/Column Order/Sort
I was wondering if anyone has tried to use the AR System User Preference form to apply a set template of Visible Columns/Column Order/Sort Order when a user selects said template from a menu. Lets say that we have a console with a table field of tickets. The agent has two roles which requires different columns to be shown and/or in a different order with a different sort. Sure they can remove columns, add columns, change the order of columns and the sort but to do this several times a day gets old. I want to have a menu of available templates for them to chose, do a set fields to the three fields on the User Preference form and then do a refresh of the form to apply the change. List Menu Functionality
In the WUT if you have an expanded List menu, you can type ahead to get to a specific section of values. As an example: If you type a g, you go to the first value that starts with g. If you type great, you go to the first value that starts with great. In the MT (ver 7.6.04 sp5) on either FF or IE, this only appears to work for a single character. I looked in the MT/WUT differences document but didn't see this mentioned. I searched the KB and communities but not knowing what to call this functionality I didn't get any meaningful results. Has this always been the case in MT? Did the Auto-Complete functionality deprecate this in MT? Or is this a bug? Sriram, You will have to create an AL loop of the selected rows in order to build your qualification for the second table. 1=1, 1=2
Back in the day a Push qualification worked better if you did a 1=2 or 1=1 (or similar). After a version or so the guidance was that doing this caused (or could) performance issues. Does anyone remember what version this was fixed in? Or does anyone have a white paper or other documentation surrounding this issue? Yea, temp gigs are a totally different animal. Residence Inn in COS is about $90/nt, less in Winter than Summer. Flights to COS are also a bit more expense because you can only get here from most/not all hubs. From N-NJ, kinda screwed, but it isn't too bad to fly to Denver and drive down. I had a gig in NYC, the flight is so long I only came back every other weekend and stretched it a bit on the return to get almost 3 days. Ram, Are you the interviewer or the interviewee? If you are the interviewer, I doubt you will be able to sufficiently evaluate a candidate just by knowing the answers. My current manager has stopped doing any part of the technical interview because he realizes that his employees are better equipped. If you are on the receiving end of these questions, memorizing the answers will not help you as I will find you out in about 5 minutes. I recently had a candidate who knew the filter phasing a bit too well. After a couple of more questions I realized that he had memorized every aspect of phasing, probably because it is such a common question. We have also come up with a technical test where you sit in front of the tools and have to create a little application. Those who know their stuff finish in less than 20 minutes and those that don't take a long time. It is a great differentiator. Again, after about 5 minutes of watching, we know your level of experience. Either way, good luck, it doesn't hurt to know more about a subject.
