HowTo Increase Size of Attachments for outgoing Emails in ITSM 7.6.04 ?

2012-11-16 Thread Oliver Nitsche
Hello ARSList,

I´m realy new at administering AR System Server 7.6.04 and
ITSM and i hope you can help a bloody beginner ;-)

Actually I had to increase the size for attachments which will be attached
to outgoing emails from 2 MB up to 50 MB.

Therefore I used the Developerstudio to modify the Form CT:Email System.

I set the Views in an overlay and modified the field property for line
ldquo;Email Attachmentrdquo; in the blue box for Email Attachments at the
bottom of this form.

I have increased the value Field/Max Size up to 50 and saved all the
changes.

Then I have tested it, but the form only accepts attachments with a size,
less than 2 MB.

The save behavior occurs after a reboot of my Test System.

In the next step I set the Value for Max Size to ldquo;0rdquo;.

Here the Form also accepts only files with a size less than 2 MB.

In my last test i set the value to saved the changes and
reboot the server, but the form did not accept files who are greater than 2
MB.

When i try to attach a file greater than 2 MB i revice the
following Error Message :

The size of the attachment is too large. Maximum size of
available slot is {0} bytes. (ARERR 9210)

Is there maybe any workflow which must be edited?

It is a complete clean and fresh installation of ITSM 7.6.04 SP2.

The Mailserver has no limit for outgoing Emails.

I hope anybody can give me some hints to fix this Problem?

Thank you in advance and have a nice day / weekend ;-)

Direct URL for create or search a Incident

2012-06-05 Thread Oliver Nitsche
I'm still quite new in administrating and developing with the ARSystem.

I have now a question but i haven´t found any information.

I hope you can help me with the following question?

To simplify the work of colleagues in our service desk, we are looking for a
way to create a link for search or create incidents directly through the
browser.

Is there a way to create a link wich can stored as a bookmark, so the Page for
e.g. creating a new Incident, can opened directly by using this bookmark in the
browser?

Thank you very much in advance for your support.

Have a nice Day

Oliver
