Gather info without a write license

2019-03-01 Thread Satya Miller
Morning,

Hoping someone has a quick answer. I’ve been asked to create a form to
basically create a questionnaire in Remedy that will be sent out to
specific users to complete. This information will not be integrated into
any of the out of the box Remedy data. We’d need the users to log into
Remedy so it tracks who filled out the form, etc. is there a way to do
this without a write license?

Sorry for the delayed response! From the Incident Management Console,
click on "More Filters" at the top to the right of the drop downs. Ensure
that there are no items chosen in the drop downs all the tabs. This is
what's being filtered.

SClick on More Filters all the way to the right of the Search String. When
we had this issue we had fields saved in here which was causing the issue.
This needs to be fixed on each person's profile, if this is your issue.

Re: What triggers outgoing email messages to be sent?

Tom,

All emails will be queued in the form called "AR System Email Messages".
Just search for Message Type "Outgoing" then delete them all. Of course if
you need to delete incoming, too, you can do that.

It's an SQL backend. We're on RemedyOnDemand v8.1. We need to fix the
data before we import it into the People form.

We are using a web service to populate the staging form. We were going to
correct the data in the staging form before we populated the people form.
If there is a better way to correct the data using a web service before we
populate the staging form I'd be most appreciative in hearing them!

Proper Case

2016-04-22 Thread Satya Miller
Morning!

I was hoping someone has an idea to help me with something. I have a form
that has two fields (First Name and Last Name) in it. The data is not
"clean." I need to convert the data in these two fields to Proper Case.
In other words, capitalize each word, or if possible even Capitalize
correctly like O'Connell. I searched the ARSList and the last suggestion
was from 2005. I was hoping there might be a better solution now.

Thanks in advance for you help.
