External Email Restriction and Validation check

Hi Team,

We would like to implement one validation check while sending email to
External email address via CTM:Email System form (Email System Link in
Incident Form > Opens this form)

Requirement is to validate external email from list of emails

a...@test.com; b...@test.com; c...@notest.com; d...@test.com..> to restrict 
email
sending if we have any email address that is NOT "test.com"..

We can have a AL on button "Send Email Now" on this form (CTM:Email System)
.. but cant prepare the substring logic of verifying the wrong/external
email address out of list of email addresses.

Its absolutely fine with Windows 8.1 64 bit.. I have done complete set up
of ARS, CMDB, ITSM, SRM and SLM all 8.1.02 versions. All are working fine.

ARS and ITSM 7.6.04 Compatibility with Oracle 12c - URGENT

We have ARS 7.6.04 SP3 and ITSM 7.6.04 SP2 with SLM 7.6.04 sp1 and SRM with
Oracle 11G.



We are planning to upgrade Oracle to 12. Would like to know if ARS and ITSM
versions are compatible with Oracle12C.

Impact Analysis of CMDB upgrade from 7.6.04 to 7.6.04SP2

Dear Team,

We have the current set of BMC tools implemented in Production

ARS 7.6.04 SP3
CMDB 7.6.04
ITSM 7.6.04 SP2
ADDM 9.0.2
BPPM 8.6 sp3

In order to Integrate CMDB with BPPM we need to have CMDB extension pack
and need to Upgrade CMDB 7.6.04 to CMDB 7.6.04 SP2.

I would like to know if there is any impact analysis kind of document or
information available just to go thorugh it and prepare for implementation.

Need to show data in display form

Hi Team,

We have the following requirement -

We have a display only form with following fields -

1. A Character Field  (Email Address)
2. A button "ADD"
3. A table field where we need to show the "Email Address"
4. A button "Send Mail"

Actions -

1. User will fill up mail address to this field "Email Address". Click ADD
2. Email Address will be stored in table field
3. User again types a Email Address and click ADD. this value will be added
I table field and so on. so that we have multiple email addresses in table
field.
4. Now at the end of adding all desired email address, user clicks on "Send
Mail"
5. A filter will get executed to send emails to all recipients.

Any suggestion if we can achieve this requirement as this form in Display
Form.

URGENT - In BPPM-ITSM Integration using IBRSD, pn_device_name is same for all events.

Hello ,

We have seen that the pn_device_name for all Informational events received
as a response from ITSM in BPPM is same.
We have set Propagation Policy from BPPM to ITSM for all Critical Events.

The Work Log of the Incident gets updated properly for the event in ITSM as:

Host=mgbremw014.hutchison.ext.gb.nmc.ericsson.se
Host Class=
Host Address=10.249.184.72
Object=K:
Object Class=NT_LOGICAL_DISKS
Parameter=LDldFreeSpacePercent
Parameter Value=5.00
Location=hutchison.ext.gb.nmc.ericsson.se


but when the response is received back from BPPM to ITSM as an Information
Event the Device Name is hitmr002.int.ericsson.se and this is the same for
all incidents information in BPPM.

Can you please let me know why this is happening.Is there a rule that I
would need to modify ? Is there a default value set ? Can you tell me the
troubleshooting steps ?

Timezone Conversion

We have an external system where Remedy receives Updateds and create record
in WorkLog  of a form in Text format. In this text format a datetime
information is stored as UTC Zero offset "*2013-06-24T10:10:10" format.*

[URGENT] - Need to clean up all INC/CR/PBI/SR records and set the counter from xxxxxxx01

Hi All,

We are using ITSM 7.6.04 on Linux 5.5 ARS 7.6.03

We have been using this system for development and Implementation and
during this testing period many users had raised several INC/CR/PBI/SR.

Now we are all set to go-live and delete/remove all the test INC/CR/PBI/SR
records and set the starting number counter to 0001 .

Any quick Idea will be highly appreciated.

executing the report User will be asked to provide start date and end date
as parameter.
We are using ITSM 7.6.04. We need extract Incident report during a given

Incident Auto Closure calculating Business Days - High Priority

We need to configure Incident Auto closure for 10 Business Days.

I would like to know if we configure Rules in Custom Configuration >
Incident Management > Advanced Options> Rules
Auto Closed Resolved in Days - is this value calculating Business Days ?

if not then any idea how to apply Business Days for Auto Closure.

Once enter id & password, it logged in the page I am looking is below which

I am able to login to 2 Individual MT servers but still i can login to MT
Load Balancer. When I am opening the URL through browser, the Login Page
appears for MT Load Balancer, but there not able to login and can't view
any pages.

It will be very nice, if you or anybody put some thoughts on it.

Midtier Loadbalancer is not working - Any suggestion ? - URGENT

Hi Team,

We have Mid tier Load balancer pointing towards 2 MT web servers. If I
login to ITSM using MT LB, it is pointing towards any of the server because
URL is getting changed but not able to login. While if I login to
individual Web servers, I am able to login to ITSM. I have checked MT
configuration and in bot the MT webserver, it is only pointing towards ARS
Load Balancer.

Please suggest if there is anything missing or any possible root cause.

Need urgent help on SRM - Details field

Hi All,

Anybody can help us on this issue will be highly appreciated.

We are using ITSM 7.6.04 sp2 with SRM 7.6.04 sp2.

If any user is raising SRM using request entry console filling up
questionnaires corresponding entry gets created in SRM:Request form with
status "Waiting Approval". Once the request is approved, it changed to
"Panning" and Incident gets created. Only then the request details are
appearing in AppRequestDetails field in SRM:Request. Before Planning
nothing is stored in AppRequestDetails field.

Although the details Information is available in *Provided Information* in
Request Detail> Details tab.

Please let me know in which form this value gets stored before the request
turned into Planning in SRM:Request, so that I can use this in my
customized mails to sent out to Approvers.

I hope i am able to make you understand the scenario.

ITSM 7.6.04 SP2 and SP4 installation

Hi Members,

We have ARS 7.6.04 sp3 with CMDB 7.6.04 SP3.

Can we install ITSM 7.6.04 SP2  or we need to Install 7.6.04 SP4 ?

AREA integration with 2 Active Directories

 Hi All,

Currently we are facing a Problem in AREA LDAP Authentication for ITSM
7.6.04

We have One Active Directory with Below information -

First Name
Last Name
Login ID
Corporate Number
Email ID

ITSM will be integrated to This AD for Authentication and pull up People
Record.

But in above Active Directory, the Manager's Information is missing.

We need this Manager's Information available in CTM:People form in order to
rout the SRM Approval to Immediate Managers.

This Information is available in another Active Directory (Manager's Login
ID, Name, Email Id)

We need suggestion regarding how to capture the Manager Information by -

1. Is it possible to integrate 2 Active Directories? One Active Directory
will be used for Password Authentication and the other will be used for
manager's information only.
2. Is there any other option to feed Manager's data (Pulling up records in
csv and import or something else)
