Re: ITSM 7.6.04 and IE 6 - overview console picking up incorrect user
I've recently got this issue reported sporadically but our users are on IE8. I will have to run fiddler and see if it's the same issue. Similarly, there is a bug that is easy to verify. That is, in BMC's representation of Assigned to me, it also includes tickets where you are the owner or owner group. To me, this makes no sense. So if you own an incident and it is assigned to someone different, that ticket will show in your overview console as Assigned to Me and show the different assignee in the Assignee column. When you open the incident, you can see that you are the Incident Owner and not the Assignee. If you run fiddler, the backchannel request that performs this query shows that ...'Incident Owner' = $FULL NAME$... in the query. Re: ITSM 7.6.04 and IE 6 - overview console picking up incorrect user
I saw something that may be related with ITSM 7.6.4 SP1 and IE8 - When I log in more than one user on browser clients, the last user logged in takes over all sessions. So if I login Michel, open a new browser and log in Allen (the test data accounts), then go back to Michel's browser session and open a ticket or a console, it will say Welcome Allen and will list Allen as the user in the bottom left status bar. It will also save with Allen's user information. It doesn't give Michel Allen's admin list of forms, but it does let Michel create and update entries as if he was Allen. (Not only is this a serious security issue, but it significantly hampers my ability as an administrator if I can no longer have multiple user sessions running from one workstation for testing and troubleshooting.) I haven't tried this with Firefox. Kelly Logan, Sr. Systems Administrator (Remedy), GMS ProQuest | 789 E. Eisenhower Parkway, P.O. Yep, done that as well. Still happening... Must be some IE settings. It's just too strange. Is there anyone out there that is using IE 6 and ITSM 7.6.04? Is everything ok for you? Re: ITSM 7.6.04 and IE 6 - overview console picking up incorrect user
Getting back the wrong cookie. Interesting. This may mean the web server is mixing up the request/response pairs. Do you have other errors (i.e., backchannel request could not be established, javascript errors, etc.)? What is the software stack (web server, J2EE container, connectors, authentication mechanisms, etc.) What is the hardware stack (platform, laod balancing, etc.) Axton On Mon, Jun 13, 2011 at 10:14 AM, Raido Oja raido.arsl...@gmail.com wrote: Hi All, We are experiencing some strange behaviour with ITSM 7.6.04 and IE 6 (we don't have this issue with Firefox).
