Re: Maintenance Tool
Hi, Oh, now I remember that I did try it once. And it did ZIP a lot of files. It id not fully like it as I did not have any control of the files it ZIP:ed. It just took everything that could be used for problem solving, including all config files etc. Best Regards - Misi, RRR AB, http://rrr.se > The maintenance tool that is available in install directory when run allows > you to zip all logs > It does not change the mode to Admin or vice versa > > Abhijeet > > -Original Message- > From: Kathy Morris [kathymorris...@aol.com] > Received: Thursday, 21 Apr 2016, 10:57PM > To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG [arslist@ARSLIST.ORG] > Subject: Re: Maintenance Tool > > Thanks Misi. > > Would my running the Maintenance Tool in production put the system in Admin > mode, and prevent users from working? > > -Original Message- > From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) > [mailto:arslist@ARSLIST.ORG] On Behalf Of Misi Mladoniczky > Sent: Thursday, April 21, 2016 3:27 AM > To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG > Subject: Re: Maintenance Tool > > Hi, > > I sample a an API/FLTR/SQL/ESCL log once in a while to see that the system > still performs as the last time. > > Then there are end to end testing tools that you can use to for example do > some operation through Mid-Tier or Web-Services. > > You can also turn on Server Statistics to find a few things. > > Best Regards - Misi, RRR AB, http://www.rrr.se (ARSList MVP 2011) > > Ask the Remedy Licensing Experts (Best R.O.I. Re: Maintenance Tool
Hi Kathy, I did not answer, because I do not know. Start it against your test system and then go into Admin Console -> System -> General -> Server Info -> Configuration and see if it changed the flag there. I doubt that it will do this though. But as I said, I do not know... Hi, I sample a an API/FLTR/SQL/ESCL log once in a while to see that the system still performs as the last time. Then there are end to end testing tools that you can use to for example do some operation through Mid-Tier or Web-Services. You can also turn on Server Statistics to find a few things.
