Nathan,
One thing you could try is re-importing.. You will need to import a home page
definition from a server that has exactly the same version and patch of the AR
Server and exactly the same applications that you have on your server (IM, AM,
CM, PM, SLM, AIE, etc etc) If you import from a server that does not have the
same stuff then you will either end up with an inconsistency in the entry
points on your application list field.
If you have a def backup of your home page while it was working, that would be
good too..
List all the entry points that you see on your list and if one of us has
exactly the same list as yours, their def file would be useful for you..

Subject: Mid-Tier: Caught Exception error
**
We started receiving this error today when accessing the mid-tier:
Caught Exception: ‘mHaveVisualCharacteristics’ is null or not an
object
This error only pops up when accessing the Home Page and the Applications List
field does not populate. All other forms are fine. In troubleshooting this, I
removed the Applications List field, flushed the cache, and reload the Home
Page. Still received the exception error.
If I change the entry point to some other form, I can login and access that
form with no problems. The issue is centered around the Home Page.
I can access the Home Page and all other forms just fine via the client.
Any ideas?
