Has anyone experimented with setting all of the System Default records to (clear) rather than None, Alert, or Email?? The text on NTE:CFG-Notification Events says that: By leaving the Remedy Notification Method (clear) the system will use the User Default That might be one way to give users more control without having to create custom notifications - if it really works... Kevin's answer is what I was going to say. It is a "feature". A very special one too! I cannot say that I like it, but it is the way OOTB works. Chris - open "NTE:CFG-Notification Events" and modify all the "System Default" records and change the "Remedy Notification Method" from "Alert" to Email. You can't do this via the People Form.
