Re: SRM 7.6.03 Entitlement (SOLVED)

2012-06-20 Thread Sueli Kanegae
The problem wasn´t the Entitlement Rule or the Flush Entitlement Cache.
I wish all Support Staff (from few different companies) to see the SRD.
The way I could do it was to create a SRD for each company and a People
Qualification with '100025' = Yes.

Thank you all anyway.

Rgds,
Sueli

Re: SRM 7.6.03 Entitlement

2012-06-19 Thread ITSM.Support
Hi,

In 7.6.03 by default the Status of Entitlement Rule is disabled. So we have to
enable it in order to apply the entitlement rule for specific SRD's and User's.

We can enable it from Application Administration Console - Custom
Configuration tab - Service Request Management - Entitlement - Entitlement
Management - Enabled or Disabled.

Now, if we change the entitlement rules on an existing SRD, we must flush the
entitlement cache.

We can flush entitlement cache from Application Administration Console -
Custom Configuration tab - Service Request Management - Entitlement -
Entitlement Management - Other Functions - User Validation - Flush
Entitlement Cache

Dear Listeners,

I have an issue about the same subject.
For me '100025' = “Yes” would be ok but it´s not working
Everyone can see the specific SRD I´ve created, even when I validate diferent
users they have diferent Entitlement Rules.
There is something missing or wrong and I don´t know what it is, any suggestion?

TIA,
Sueli

SRM 7.6.03 Entitlement

2011-09-26 Thread Marek B.
Hi,

I'm facing problems in setting up entitlement rules in mulititenancy
environment.

For exclusion entitlement rule where Everyone is not entitled to see one
particular SRD for Company A
I am not able to see the others SRDs for Company A as well.
Setting this SRD as Global doesn't exclude the visibility. So I'm able to
see this one SRD and still the others for Company A don't show up.
Flushing entitlement cache doesn't help.
Is there any known defect for this functionality or I'm doing somthing
wrong?

regards,
Marek

Re: SRM 7.6.03 Entitlement

2011-09-26 Thread Chowdhury, Tauf
Do you have multi-tenancy enabled? Do you have an entitlement group
setup in which entitles users to the SRDs of that company? You may need
to create one overarching group that has access to all the SRD's for
that company. I believe when entitlement is enabled, you need to do
that.

I may be wrong but it's something to try. I haven't configured
entitlements in a while :) Hopefully someone will correct me if I am
wrong.
