El que tan en tiempo real es el live coding en terminos de
procesamiento es algo que hay que estudiar bien en detalle dependiendo
del entorno que uses, sin embargo creo que -siendo muy quisquillosos-
el tiempo real en el LC no existe realmente pues siempre una
instruccion se tomara unos ciclos de procesamiento en ser ejecutada.
Pero con la velocidad de los procesadores -GPU- de hoy en dia este
tiempo es imperceptible.

Pero mas alla de discutir sobre la especifidad tecnica me parece
interesante entender el LC como una practica que tiene caracteristicas
esteticas y si se quiere un lenguaje propio. El hacer el codigo
visible durante el performance e integrarlo en la imagen hace que los
limites entre imagen/concepto/tecnica se desdibujen pues el codigo,
aunque no sea comprensible para los espectadores se hace publico justo
al momento de ser escrito. Un buen articulo al respecto del LC es[0]
de Simon Yuil y por ahi hay una tesis de un master que si no estoy mal
es de alguien cercano al equipo de developers de Fluxus[1], que si es
de interes puedo buscar con calma.

The *Electronic Arts Experimentation and Research Centre – CEIArtE
(Centro de Experimentación e Investigación en Artes Electrónicas) *of
the *National University of Tres de Febrero (Universidad Nacional de
Tres de Febrero)* in Argentina is inviting to submit papers and artworks
about videomusic to be considered for the *Understanding Visual Music –
UVM 2013*symposium. The event will be co-produced with the* San Martín
Cultural Centre *and the *Planetarium* of Buenos Aires. The symposium
will be held on August 8th and  9th of 2013, in the city of Buenos
Aires, Argentina.


*_THEME_*: Considering that part of the symposium will be held in a
Planetarium, the theme "*From macro to micro*" suggests the possibility
of exploring multiple universes that we are just beginning to discover.

*_GOALS_: *The goals of this event are: *[1]* to create an opportunity
for artists and researchers involved with “visual music” to share and
discuss artistic, aesthetic, perceptual, technological, educational, and
sociocultural themes relevant to this field, and *[2]***to welcome
interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and cross-fertilization
among creators, researchers, and educators involved in visual music and
associated fields (including electroacoustics, animation, computation
arts, media arts, music, film, and more).

*_SYMPOSIUM (colloquium + concerts)_: **Understanding Visual Music** -
UVM 2013*offer an space to share and generate knowledge on “Visual
Music”. The Symposium is structured upon *[**1]*a colloquium which
invites artists-researchers and academics to expose their explorations
and findings in the field; and *[**2]*concerts -open to the general
public- with “visual music” works.


*_IMPORTANT DATES_: **Submissions open***(papers and works):**January
10th. *Submissions Closed*: March 23rd of 2013 - midnight Buenos Aires
time. We will be announcing additional submission information soon as
well as the accepted formats for the artworks. The event will run for 2
days , August 8th and 9th, 2013.

[arzexp] mas sobre la migracion

Hola,

Muchas gracias por confirmar la recepcion del anterior correo de prueba.

En el momento las dos listas (ArzExp, ExpyEzp) estan funcionando 
correctamente, hay un peqenio problema con el sistema de archivo, por 
esto si desean revisar los archivos de las listas la mejor manera es ir 
al espejo en mail-archive[1][2].

El proceso de migracion llevo mas de lo esperado, pero ya esta concluido.

Apartir de ahora los correos a Expyezp y Arzexp deben estar dirigidos a 
expy...@lists.randomlab.net y arzexp@lists.randomlab.net respectivamente.


Las paginas de informacion de las listas estan en[1][2].

Por favor actualizen las direcciones de envio de correo y sus marcadores 
en los navegadores.
