How can things be equalized ?

Begin some more serius attempts to rebuild the West side and incorporate
equal housing on
the east side

Article last week about how long branchtook $2m in COAH credits from Colts
Neck (this is
where rich towns can give away the low income housing obligations to
other towns to
build the low income housing. Nice loophole for towns to avoid their local
obilgations.

Imagine a development on the West Side that catered to ALL people that was
affordable and
SAFE.

 1. Look at those 2 things you stand on, and go from there

 that.

While I know many of the nswers are tongue in cheek, you miss the
point. We can agree to abide by the rules if we know what the rules
are. While it is a purported NJ state rule to not park within 25
feet of a corner, it is 20 feet in NY (never seen it enforced). And
while ignorance of the law is no defense, there is something just
wrong with citation by ambush. Painted curbs or modest signs or some
other solution that meets the majority's aesthetics can be worked
out. As for using appraisal skills, while I may say ceiling heights
are APPROXIMATELY 16 feet, I can not approximately break the law.
There was no measurement of the 25 feet. The officer has no idea
EXACTLY how far away the cars were (before he brought the tape
wheel). Remember that the next time you get a speeding ticket. I'll
give you a freebie. Plead not guilty and defend yourself. They can
NEVER prove it.

There is a misconception of what AFFORDABLE is, and that it amounts
to public housing. Affordable could mean a family of four making
$75,000. The recipient of that affordable housing could be a police
 officer.\

Exactly right.

You can make that money, and NEVER be able to afford the median price
of $350k for a home in M County, let alone AP, unless you look at the
west side - south west. People cannot save the $ for a down payment.

If you get rid of the train tracks, you can get rid of the west
side): - like Long Branches attempt to reduce the width of Ocean Ave
to bring 2nd ave and Broadway into the new development.

Eat less, skip the booze and cigarettes, skip the new cars, eat
pancakes, spagetti, or rice for dinner. Make your coffee at home.

Maybe then, you can afford a home and the TAXES here in NJ.

I think they should let you come up with the state's slogans.
