Begin some more serius attempts to rebuild the West side and incorporate equal housing on the east side Article last week about how long branchtook $2m in COAH credits from Colts Neck (this is where rich towns can give away the low income housing obligations to other towns to build the low income housing. There is a misconception of what AFFORDABLE is, and that it amounts to public housing. Affordable could mean a family of four making $75,000. The recipient of that affordable housing could be a police officer.\ Exactly right. You can make that money, and NEVER be able to afford the median price of $350k for a home in M County, let alone AP, unless you look at the west side - south west. People cannot save the $ for a down payment. If you get rid of the train tracks, you can get rid of the west side): - like Long Branches attempt to reduce the width of Ocean Ave to bring 2nd ave and Broadway into the new development.
