Frank, how about short concisley wriiten petitions, circulated around

I was speaking to Karen Lee, the band director and she said she thinks
the kids would really like a nice dinner in their honor---maybe we cna work on
that and have it at The Berkley? Also I think we should ask Jimmy if the APHS
Band can lead our Fourth of July Parade followed by the athletes, coaches and
cheerleaders.

I was on my way down Main St. on the way to Cookman and got stopped at
the light at Asbury Ave. Lots of fire trucks. I had no idea what was
going on. Then lots of honking cars, then a few police cars with
flashing lights.

Then the Yellow school buses with the Victorious Blue Bishops waiving
their jersey's out the windows.

Followed by cars full of parents and fans.

What a great site.

Those kids will never forget that experience.

Congrats to the Blue Bishops and their families!

I think that would be a great idea. I'd like to hear from Danny
and the Little League first, though, as to how they would like us to
proceed so that what we do is coordinated with what they would want.

[AsburyPark] Re: Let's Sue the School Board - Frank - Give us the state monitor's phone # e

2007-12-01 Thread 2fine4u
Dan and Denise; Who runs Asbury Park? I agree with both of your
responses. Can the parents take back THEIR town, THEIR School Board?
What? I read this article, yesterday, with a heavy heart.

Bureaucracy, taking over and our kids suffering, as usual! That
Lucille Davy, had no credible answer to last year's monitors'
failings! It is, what it is, as far as SHE'S concerned! She could
care less and SHE should be removed for her answer, alone! Asbury
Park, is EVERYONE'S CASH COW!

The Frank D's and Danny McKee's be DAMNED! Fire all the lawyers'!
They want now, what they avoided, over the years and now, Mr. McKee,
has to dot every I and cross every T, after he's done all that leg
work, for what? Nothing!

Title 9, my you know what! Let's stick another obstacle in their
path, already! Yeah, we'll break 'em down, no matter what! It's no
wonder, Asbury Parkans, are seen as a bunch of losers! We can't win!
It's residents, can't get any relief, from this so-called
redevelopment plan, which will not benefit us, just the banking and
real estate, community.

The streets, well Sewall Ave., is being DUG up, again, from a street
that was repaved several years ago, to be turned into a pothole
haven, as well as Bangs ave., across the tracks! Wherever the
minorities are, it's all out, screw you! Just ride through and see
what I mean!

I'm going to need a front end, soon, no thanks to the mayhem, on the
east side. One bright spot, The Asbury Park Football Team, are State
Champions, in spite of where they have to live! God Bless the Team,
their coaches, parents and supporters of all things, Asbury!

issue.

Take a cue from Frank. The lawyers serve at the pleasure of the BOE.
It is one thing to perhaps proceed cautiously and listen to counsel.
And I understand that there may be a perception of liability if the
soil cannot support the lights, etc. But now we are talking about
telling the LL to move. The BOE can override the state monitor. I have
heard it from too many people, on both sides of the fence that it is
obvious that SOMEONE does not want the LL. Who is it? It is time for
 the BOE to stand up.

If there is a real issue with the lights, or something else, exactly
what is it and how do you solve it?

But from what I hear, it is one obstacle after another that is laid
before Danny. That smells. As one obstacle is overcome another is put
in his place. If they are going to do this (which we should not allow
them to) the BOE should give us all our money back.

Doting is what parents and grand-parents are supposed to do. It's part of the
job description.

Danny is meeting with the parents Saturday (today) evening. We
should know soon the direction they'd like to go in. May I suggest
that letters to the Coaster, the Press, and/or the Governor might be
good ideas, too.

Your doting is well paced. Saw it saturday night. Your daughter and
her voice were a delight. Even my 16.5 year old theatre critic
concurred, and she has been in it since she is 5. We were all born in
a trunk (it's my major and I still have my SAG card). Both girls in
theatre. Keep kids occupied (sports, the arts, etc.). Give them a
direction. Congrats Tom. But you'll have to go a long way to beat how
many times I have had to sit through plays. I think I know Rodgers and
Hammerstein by heart now.

BTW, the Paramount and the Arcade looked simply marvelous and even a
little warmer than last week.
