As Jim knows and asI've said here before, I did not vote for Jim in
the last election.
The tactics being used against himin recent monthsare so
contemptible to me that I've already started to reevaluate my voting
criteria.
e.g.:Asking him toread the letter from the
UEZ. And especially, if true, the reports here that it was done with
malicious glee. And then there are the "commie" and assassination
accusation!
Tommy used Shakespeare to introduceyesterday's column. He
should look up what Hamlet meant when he said: "For 'tis the sport to have the
engineer / Hoist with his own petard; and 't shall go hard."

elected. Keady was elected to represent the interest of the People.
Keady was not elected to be a cheerleader for redevelopment. Is Jim
a politician? Thankfully, not in the traditional mold. Look where politics
have gotten us? With few exceptions, our elected officials are presented to
us, and 'rented' by special interests. I think more of our elected
officials should take a page from the Jim Keady handbook.He might
piss off the special interests... and those who shill for the special
interests, but the voters know their concerns have a voice.
