excuse for not providing them with due safety. especially after
being argued, studied and given due process through the entire
system of government our republic is architected upon. the fact
that
the funding got denied where the buck stopped, requires public
acknowledgment, discourse and, ultimately, accountability.

As to the policy: it has its origins in the recently
declassified
1950 document NSC-68 (authored Paul Nitze). This documents a
roadmap
of imperial aspirations which rely on preemptive strikes and
taking
control, by force if neccesary, of natural resources. The modern
flavor of this plan, crafted as early as 1992 by paul wolfowitz
and
later redited by cheney and colin powell to soften the very strong
world imperialism language. This strategy of glbal imperialism and
it needing to take root in the middle east is clearly defined in

Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and Its Geostrategic

by Zbigniew K. Brzezinski. Their policy is a simple one.
controlling
resources is the key to controlling the rest of the world. this is
the reason for our alliance with isreal, it has nothing to do with
israel controlling us, any notion of a 'chosen people', or blaming
israel for our war. again, this is about developing an
overpowering
presence inthe middle east. the reason for going into iraq is two
fold (according to position papers authored by luminaries such as
wolfowitz, cheney, rumsfeld, and pearle among others)..to
creatiing
a lasting military presence in northen and southern iraq in the
areas of oil fields, and driving a wedge in the islamic world by
putting an american prsence between iran, saudia arabia and syria.
all setting the stage for the neo-cons dream of an imperialistic
world.
