Here is a link to a talk by steven pinker arguing that we are far less violent than we have been. 20 minutes but worth it. i encourage you all to explore TED's site. http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/steven_pinker_on_the_myth_of_violence.html Yahoo! Glenn's post was Asbury related: about hateful postings here, and about a commemoration to be held at 5th Av beach. In a message dated 10/11/2008 8:00:28 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: Was that crime about hate or drugs? - That's a leading question which can distract this group to the national left-right debate about hate-crime legislation. JR's position is on record in a column he wrote for TriCity last year as Ocean Township prepared for its Laramie play. I post the reasons for my position at the Asbury Politics group. Was the death of 14 year-old Emmett Till a hate crime or a crime of passion based on disrespect for a white woman? Let's agree to disagree here. Otherwise, use the other group. **New MapQuest Local shows what's happening at your destination. Dining, Movies, Events, News more. I wasn't there, I wasn't in the courtroom; so, I can not definatively answer your question. Would erasing hate ruin anything though? If there is enough hate crimes in the world to necessitate a gathering against it, wouldn't it be easy to find an exemplar that was definitively just about hate and nothing else?
