I went to Trinity several times last year and thought the food and service were
excellent. Had no complaints. Langosta has kind of shoddy service but their
food is great. Pop's Garage is good. I haven't been to Dauphin Grille other
than for drinks. Their Tiki Bar is awesome. :)

Hinge,
I thought you loved the European lifestyle? they serve small portions over
there with mostly homemade and organic ingredients, hence their lower rate of
obesity. So i would think you would embrace a moderate homemade portion since
it mimics Europe :)

I do, but what I had on my b'day was even smaller than Euro portions. I had a
cheese plate app that was not worth the cost of it. And a steak main course
that was pretty tiny and tasteless. The desert was good though.

I have always had a good experience at Langosta. I sometimes just order a
couple of their sushi rolls. It is pricey though.

I like Pop's Garage as well. I had a yummy chorizo taco the other day with
grilled corn.

Happened to me this past weekend, I ended up making more food when I got home
as well

I will say though, that's the first time its happened to me since I have been
going there

The portions were still bigger than Cubacan (sp?) Which I am convinced is a
kids menu when it comes to portion size

How can 1 block away from Cookman be considered Out of the Way?
Are you serious?
Taka has a pretty great track record. It's on the same block. Is that
destination out of the way?
Asbury is full of great little gems. Have you ever checked out The Coronals
Kissing Booth? It's off the beaten path but gaining a following because they
make great food.
What about La Sierra on Main St? It's probably the best kept secret in AP and
their biz is thriving because people are discovering that they have great food
at reasonable prices.
If Trinity has a problem, it's a lack of buzz or creative advertising.
But blaming it on their rather great location is quite a stretch in my opinion.

I agree location is not the problem,

I have not seen much in the way of advertising except Gilmours email and the

I personally have mixed feelings on Trinity, my experiences have been
