Re: [ATrpms-devel] avidemux 2.6.4 available

2013-07-02 Thread Axel Thimm
Hi,

for el6 it fails with a missing dependency on js-devel. For el5 it
fails with missing dependencies on libvpx-devel and
pulseaudio-libs-devel.

 It requires qt4 = 4.7 (remember - rhel6 ships 4.6.2).
Otherwise, it does not link (unresolved references).

For rhel6 (or F14) should be built with:

 --without gtk3

 Thanks.

Is avidemux Qt based now?
I always knew it to be GTK based...

 Hi Axel and Paulo,

I have after MANY attempts managed to get avidemux-2.6.4 to compile
and build :-) at least on f18 and f19.

Here it fails on all, but el6 platforms. It's the /bin/arch dependency
that needs fixing for one.

I assumed all patches was upstreamed, so they are removed.

Probably not really all of them. Best way to test is by trying to
reverse the patch.

I had to removed all that has to with languages (%find_lang) as it
 erred out.

Should also be checked.

Many files and directories have changed names ...

Paulo could you try to recompile the package, and possibly also
test, to see if it is sensible what I have done?

I'm not sure he read this post, but it would be great if you two could
coordinate efforts as you are both into the details now. :)

I have remembered that tmpfilesdir should be set to /etc/tmpfiles.d :-)

 I have this installed:
 atrpms-rpm-config-203-1.noarch

I decided to hardcode it for now. The macro is only valid for F19 (or
even F20?) upwards.

would happen if I tried to recompile new Dovecot with old

I downloaded your src-rpm, updated the version, and tried to rebuild but ran

It seems to come from these lines:
 %if %{with systemd}
 %_tmpfilesdir/dovecot.conf
 %{_unitdir}/dovecot.service
 %{_unitdir}/dovecot.socket
 %else

But I do not understand why dovecot.conf should go into some
temp-dir? nor why I have a problem here, since I have the newest
macros? I have tried to surround it with {}, with no luck. This is
 on FC17.

Hope you can shed some light...
