This means that ATrpms mplayer has to be recompiled using --with fribidi I think we deactivated this option a long time ago, because it was messing up subtitles with accents. I was referring to the old stable versions, but they do not build any more, anyway ... I have recently upgraded via fedup from F17 to F18. The only nvidia driver available for me is the newest 325.15, since the previous versions do not compile on kernels = 3.10 Since then, I am unable to login in gnome. I get Oh, Something went wrong on a black screen and I am kicked out. Kde works just fine, though, and cinnamon is unbearable slow. I am using RedHat since 1997 and this is the first time gnome fails me ... I was wandering whether this has anything to do with my card GeForce GT 640 and this new driver (I do not have any other version to try). It is worth supporting broadcom on rhel6, because the fix was just redefining the switches on the code based on the kernel versions. Everything was done in the spec file just using sed ... Axel, you will have to rebuild vlc on rhel6 because of the new libmatroska 1.4. As far as I know, vlc does not build with libdvbpsi 1.0. I do not know why there is no 64 bit version of the linux plugin for the latest 2.67b version. There is a working version for Mac OS, though... Just for the records... installing alsa-lib 1.0.24 on rhel6 breaks flash plugin pulse support. Therefore, using flash via firefox or chrome precludes any other application of gaining control of the sound card. Hi, Axel I noticed that ampache is missing in F15 and F16, and probably you forgot to activate it, because it was missing since the beginning of these fedora releases. audacious-plugins is missing in rhel6. mp3splt-gtk is missing in F15 and F16, and they build fine here. Since F15 and F16 possess a working gtk3, I just built mp3splt-gtk with no special option, because the defaults are fine in this case. avidemux is missing in F16 (built fine here). kradio4 is missing in rhel6 (built fine here). This is an updated version I submitted some time ago: http://people.atrpms.net/~pcavalcanti/srpms/kradio4-4.0.2.1-2.fc14.src.rpm but 4.0.3 should be out soon, and if you wish it can be built only in rhel6 (the other releases can wait for 4.0.3).
